Conservative playcalling. If Mason misfires or the receiver doesn't catch it, odds are better the ball goes out of bounds instead of being intercepted if you're going near the sideline.

We are a couple plays from 2-1. If the D could hold a lead or if Barron doesn't hold, Moncrief learned to catch, or James doesn't fumble. We could easily be looking at 2-1. That does not excuse our terrible coaching schemes though. This defense can not stop anyone the way it is set up. I still have a glimmer of hope for the O to figure things out

Two of the Bengal's three losses also came against Seattle and 49ers, teams that have beaten the Steelers in back-to-back weeks

Bengals pass offense is #3 overall in the NFL, they are throwing a lot and piling up the yardage

 
I predict we go 8-8 and people will PRAISE Tomlin in the media because he clawed his way back into a playoff chase (in a bad division) only to fall short because of an "injury ridden squad".

The whole story is practically written for him already. How could Art II fire that? The team won't give up because of Tomlin's leadership!!! (sarcasm). They will have on big win in there vs. a top-5 team and people will praise the teams' work ethic and preparation.

It doesn't matter. This is another season down the tubes. We will not win a playoff game. We will not get a good draft pick. We will not change the culture in the room.
