Can we just go ahead and abandon California?

The majority of them are, but not all. The taxes, regulations and downright criminal **** sucks, but there are places that are still beautiful and some pristine. You're sounding like a parrot at this point, we get it that you don't like California.

You don't like it so much that even though this **** has been going on for decades like I think Zona mentioned, you only moved out in 2017. Good for you. God speed.

Hey if they ran California like Florida I'd definitely live in San Diego. I want the cost of living like here as well.

It's the people running things and what they've allowed. Hell at one time I wanted to drive down the entire California coastline.

I cross my fingers they turn back to the state that voted for Reagan.

I did like the santa monica pier when we went back in 2012

The Pier, the Eli and Edythe Broadstage theatre and Moss theatre (among others) were mainstays of Santa Monica at one time but they turned that place into **** as well. Just about all of LA is a cesspool now unfortunately.

You couldn't pay me to live there at this point.

Santa Monica is now a dump. Beginning in about 2013, Santa Monica decided to show "mercy" to the homeless by allowing them to pitch tents in public parks and along the beaches. Wow, shock, thousands upon thousands of homeless moved to Santa Monica and took up residence in the public parks.

This is now Santa Monica, and Venice, and much of the San Fernando Valley:

Albuquerque went the same way in 2016. We had a nice section just off of the freeway. Breweries and local businesseses were setting up shop and now it’s homeless camps everywhere.

My wife’s aunt says Atlanta is getting bad as well. I mean Atlanta has had some bad homeless sections. But it’s worse. Every decent metro has the problem

I live about 20 miles NW of Atlanta. No bums allowed here.

Also, went to the college football HOF in downtown Atlanta with guests yesterday, did not see any bums.

But nowhere is going to be better than former residence of Prescott, Arizona. Gets effing cold in the winter, too cold for bums. Cops don't let bums camp out. The area is populated with ranchers, horse owners, retired cops, and those smart enough to leave the bum collective dump known as Commiefornia. We don't put up with bums camping out and ******** on the lawn.

Buckhead? I remember seeing them around the MARTA a lot. But of course her aunt does shop in some sketchy parts to begin with lol

We lived in Athens, then Woodstock. Rarely saw homeless at the time. It was nice

No, north of there - northern Roswell, in Cobb County. Just east of Marietta. No bums allowed.

Ah. It’s been awhile. We were in Athens in 2019 for UGA/Notre Dame.

We stopped in Rome and Tybee beach down south in Savannah
