Meh....he already had his sophomore slump late last season. I see big things for him this season if our OL can give Ben time to throw. For some reason...maybe it my glass half full mentality lately with everything...
I can see a sophomore slump for 11 this season..
If it’s the dreaded high ankle sprain who knows. That injury literally left Kendrell Bell not the same. If it is I’d guess a good 5-6 weeks.3+ weeks til week 1. He should be fine by then
I'd say Anthony Johnson has a chance to make this roster, with his ST expertise and the fact that he also plays the Z receiver.
I’ve stayed mum on AJ but have been keeping my eye on him since his rookie year. That dude was a consensus 2nd-3rd round pick heading into the draft out of Buffalo. Has height, speed, hands, everything you look for. Just hasn’t had a chance to show his stuff. I hope Chase is A-Ok, needless to say. Just glad to see you mention Johnson, Cope, cause he’s a real sleeper in my book, who may stick around.I'd say Anthony Johnson has a chance to make this roster, with his ST expertise and the fact that he also plays the Z receiver.

If they consider it minor doesn't sound like a high ankle sprain. We'll see.
I read it is a low ankle sprain. Which could be a few days to a few weeks if it is a grade 1.

Good hands, size, try hard type. Steelers have a solid group before him. Which works against him for getting that roster spot. His consistent play should get some love behind closed doors. What can you tell us about Anthony Johnson, I haven't kept much track of him.
Also It's nice to have Washington on the roster but he isn't size / speed Chase so is there a chance AJ would take Claypools place ???
Salute the nation
AJ is a deep threat with great hands, high points the ball, and makes combat catches.I’ve stayed mum on AJ but have been keeping my eye on him since his rookie year. Those do hurt. Having landed awkardly they definitely change your natural gait in a sense. Once that is throw off your body start trying to compensate and triggers a reaction which leads to injury after injuryIf it’s the dreaded high ankle sprain who knows.
