Good thing we have Washington

Just saw this. ****! He is our biggest threat at WR. Hope it's nothing but 2 guys helped him off the field so that's not a good sign.

For some reason...maybe it my glass half full mentality lately with everything...

I can see a sophomore slump for 11 this season..

Meh....he already had his sophomore slump late last season. I see big things for him this season if our OL can give Ben time to throw.

3+ weeks til week 1. He should be fine by then
If it’s the dreaded high ankle sprain who knows. That injury literally left Kendrell Bell not the same. If it is I’d guess a good 5-6 weeks.

I'd say Anthony Johnson has a chance to make this roster, with his ST expertise and the fact that he also plays the Z receiver.

He looked pretty damn good last game. Not familiar with him at all but he looked fast out there (and very small sample size but good hands).

I’ve stayed mum on AJ but have been keeping my eye on him since his rookie year. That dude was a consensus 2nd-3rd round pick heading into the draft out of Buffalo. Has height, speed, hands, everything you look for. Just hasn’t had a chance to show his stuff. I hope Chase is A-Ok, needless to say. Just glad to see you mention Johnson, Cope, cause he’s a real sleeper in my book, who may stick around.

The more I read up on his size and speed, this is good news to hear Tibs. He looked good out there. Hands 9 3/8", 6'2" and can run like that? Don't let that get away.

They sure can find themselves WRs.

Not major but it could be a high ankle sprain which could keep him out into the season.

If they consider it minor doesn't sound like a high ankle sprain. We'll see.

Yeah that's what I got from it as well. If it was high ankle they would've been mum IMO.

I read it is a low ankle sprain. Which could be a few days to a few weeks if it is a grade 1.

Good news. In the meantime, hopefully that Johnson kid will continue to shine.

What can you tell us about Anthony Johnson, I haven't kept much track of him.

Also It's nice to have Washington on the roster but he isn't size / speed Chase so is there a chance AJ would take Claypools place ???

Salute the nation

I love Washington. But with how these young receivers are steeping up, If someone offered a 2nd or even a 3rd, or a starting caliber CB, I trade him

Good hands, size, try hard type. Steelers have a solid group before him. Which works against him for getting that roster spot. His consistent play should get some love behind closed doors.

AJ is a deep threat with great hands, high points the ball, and makes combat catches.

Plus I got to interview the guy...

Those do hurt. Having landed awkardly they definitely change your natural gait in a sense. Once that is throw off your body start trying to compensate and triggers a reaction which leads to injury after injury
