Hall of Fame Game Day Steelers vs Cowbrats 8pm fox

you guys are right. Haskins is Gale Sayers + Brett Favre. Don't know how i missed his greatness throwing for 54 yards and about 4 yards per attempt.

Haskins was OK, but you'd think he lit it up to read these comments. Then every throw of Masons, people get out the microscope and say well that throw was off target by like 3 inches so he sucks.

Hard to compare QBs so far as the palycalling changed. I want to see Mason bootlegs and Haskins under center more to compare.
Damn ... Dobbs gonna get ANY playing time? I'm sure he'd like to throw his hat into this discussion.
Yeah Haskins hasn’t really been as impressive yet…
Hey, you remember when Haskins tucked he ball and ran? Trying to remember if he picked up at least 5 yards ...
i think his rushing stats was 2/4 yards so I don’t know

he's quick. We need need that aspect from the QB position.
He's not so quick or fast. But, he does seem to be more decisive than he was in Washington. And, to be fair, he never showed the inclination to take off at tOSU.

Same thing you did with Haskins. Funny thing is that he was WAAAAAY more mobile in the pocket and out of the pocket than the Kent Graham reincarnation you described all off season. And, his ball placement WAS on point.
Like I said, they both played well.
It's a good position to be in.

Its backup qb syndrome here as always… haskins is in a fight to be the third QB… Rudolph isn’t a franchise QB, but he probably is a starter or top end backup …

I don’t think people get how bad qb play can be out there…

If Haskins didn't impress with two scoring drives ... Well, OK ... I guess.

I didn't say that - I said Rudy's ball to Chase was not placed properly. I also said Rudy caused the fumble w/ Chase.

I recorded the game so I'm going to rewatch tomorrow and see if Rudy still has the 'yips' - because, IIRC, he still looked a bit skittish to me...

Speaking of PSU. You guys did realize that MIcah Parsons was the best player on the field tonight for either team. He plays like 1 quarter and was on on most plays. Steelers threw a quick outside route to DJ and Parsons ran him down coming from his ILB position. They moved him inside and outside. He's going to be an impact player. BUt i guess imy opinion on him doesn't count.

I mean he ran a run first offense vs super scrubs and had a rating of 70… he didn’t suck out loud but honestly if Rudolph has that same game people are calling for him to be cut

I would like to see Haskins starting the next preseason game. See what he can do with some weapons.
