Doug Pederson Fired

3 years after SB. **** you gotta be kidding me. Tomlin is 12 since a win 10 since an appearance. C'mon.

Everyone's lasting memory of Pederson is the embarrassment of a tank job he had in the last week of the season.

He did something Mike Tomlin never did - beat the Patsies in the playoffs.

Right now, I would 1000% rather have Doug Pederson coaching the Steelers than the moron, imbecile, punt on 4th and 1 to start the 4th quarter trailing 35-23, go for 2 when it makes no sense, don't go for 2 when you should go for 2 Tomlin.

Regardless of who made the call, it was a baaaaad look.

Pass on that one. He poorly handled the qb situation then blatantly tanking last game.

Unless they fire Roseman they are going to suck for a while. Actually, their drafts have been so bad that they are going to suck 3-5 years no matter what.

Ours lasted one week longer

Yeah, no thanks.

The media got Pederson fired. NY media especially kept writing article after article how it was a disgrace to game.
Eagles caved and fired him. Typical media these days, they push and make the calls on everything.

I'd gladly trade Tomlin to Eagles for the a 1st rd pick... I'd settle for a 3rd rd.

The Eagles are damn good at moving SB coaches. Vermeil, Reid, now Peterson. They just don't know what the **** they're doing over there...

Did his whole coaching staff get the axe as well?

I think he got the axe because he embroiled them in a qb controversy and they still owe Wentz a **** ton of money. And while I think some teams are too reactionary. The Steelers are the opposite. I can't imagine he would still be employed by most of the rest of the league.
