He is not going to want starter money to stay. But you could get your look for some guarenteed money and him not playing on his cheap rookie deal next year. What like 2 and an option for what 6 or 7 guarenteed. Rest is incentives. Next year is your leverage.
Mason Rudolph was improving last year and he took that fuckstick hit from the pos safety from the Ratbirds.
He completed under 60 percent of his passes against. Browns secondary that was without its best layers. Hard pass. He is just a guy. In fact the Rams rookie undrafted QB. In his first NFL game against a team fighting for the playoffs looks better.
The Opposition QB playing for the Rams opponent was a CFL backup last year
**** off. Rudolph outplayed the first overall today and quite frankly competed more long balls than Ben had in the last 4 weeks combined.
Overreact much, or should we fit him for his gold jacket now?

A lot of our GMs here forget that's fact. Today, Rudolf showed he has a decent arm and grasp of the system. This was an open audition and he passed with flying colors. We were even down 7 starters and he D'ang neared pulled it off, with the help of the team but that's expected.

He didn't outplay anyone. he threw a couple of 50 50 balls and on a desperate 4th and 10 Claypool bailed him out. He had a Landry Jones type day. I would not waste anther nickel on a slow footed pocket passer with a mediocre arm, horrible pocket presence. Everything has to be perfect for him to overcome his pysichal limitations and that won't happen in the NFL without a howitzer of an arm. So go **** you cheerleading fool.

LMAO, Ben completed 3 passes on 25 yards or more last week, and a deep PI, Mason completed 3 passes of 25 yards or more today vs the Browns jv secondary. Oh by the way we won last week vs one of the better defenses in the NFL.

The sun rises in the East and the Steelers backup QB gets much more attention than is warranted. Rudy played one game this year and didn't totally screw it up, good on him but who gives a flying f if he's re-signed or set free at this point?

Where are you seeing hate for Ben? Clearly Ben is far better than Mason. We can show Mason appreciation for a good game without taking anything away from Ben.
I don't have one once of Hate for Ben. Anyone who reads my stuff knows I only have disdain for the coaching staff. HOF jacket. **** off. What I'm saying is get his name on a contract in 2022. If you have to throw him 6-8 million guarenteed do it. Christ Derek Watt got almost 10 million over three and 3.25 guarenteed.
Here is the cold hard reality people. Unless the Steelers get 3 or more turnovers next week you can damn well bet it will be the same down to the wire game as today. The offensive game plan will mail in the first third of the game as usual. The run game was actually more effective today. Mason threw for 300 yards and two TD. Where are you going to get so much more from next week. They will be lucky to advance to the divisional round.

Landry Jones in his last 2 start against the Browns was 24-37 277 yards and 3 TDs with a 103.1 QB rating and then 23-27 239 yards a a TD with a 100.5 QB rating, bot games better than Rudolph and he never played again after the 23-27 game. Yeah lets extend Rudolph and his pop gun arm.
