Even at 11-0, this team has issues

yards per play doesn't mean a damn thing at the end of the day it is how many points you score. Doesn't matter how they are scored. The chiefs got up big on TB last week and ended up winning by a field goal. They are not unstoppable on offense and they have issues on defense.

I'm not worrying about them until the schedule says they are next up....

Yards per play says a lot in terms of how efficient on offense is at moving the ball.

The Steelers offense often struggles to move the ball, which is reflected in the average.

The Steelers are not a bad offensive team, but they are limited in how they attack defenses.

The scheme works great against the Jaguars and Bengals of the league, but had issues in both games against the Ravens.

We'll learn more about the championship viability of the offense in the coming weeks, as Washington, Buffalo and Indianapolis all have really good defensive personnel.

Time of possession shows how well your offense can control the ball. To beat a team like the chiefs you need to keep their offense on the sideline. the chiefs defense is closer to the bungles and jags than it is to the ravens

I might agree that the chiefs O is in another level, but also you have to recognize that their D is not even close to the Steelers'. So all in all I like our chances against that juggernaut O

Someone can look it up, but I think I read that Steelers are #1 in point differential and KC is #2.

There's a link there, it's one of the most commonly used and well-respected metrics for overall team strength. I ain't getting paid to read **** to you.

commonly used by who? While I don't know every analytical stat, I have never heard of it.

I went to the site and took the time to register so i could read the details since you could not be bothered to explain it. It seems to be just some computer geeks way of number crunching to give a website a way to be different.

I didn't register. However, unless the chart changes to show something different when you register, don't they have the Steelers ranked #2 under their own formula (DVOA) at 29.9% above? So, saying we've played number this, that or the other seems to be cherry picking when their formula says we are performing above expectations. Not only above expectations, but 30% above expectations. Heck, that's impressive (I guess).
