After reviewing the running backs, I picked the one who I think would be best for the

Thanks. To let you in on a well-known secret, I have fun here. I laugh at the overreactions based on what I say, which over time, is usually proven to be correct.

As for a Steeler bar, I used to go to one in the 1990s to see the games. Many were mostly Pittsburgh people who relocated including the owner. It didn't matter to them if I had the only luxury car in the parking lot; they accepted me as one of their own. The bartender rocked; you could say I was taken care of. As soon as I arrived, I had a bucket of Iron City, and yes I actually liked it for the games.

Here the mods, often change the titles of my thread. I'm not taken care of, but as I said above, that's not why I here.

I'm pretty sure if I meet some of the people here without saying the name coach, some of the posters who build their post count replying to my stuff might even like me.

yeah people here love asshats bragging about their luxury cars....just typical of attention ***** fucktards like yourself

I agree I enjoyed his write-ups an insight on players. But it all started in 2003 when he was all up on Dave Ragone and Lee Suggs. I respectfully disagreed with his assessment of both players. I wasn’t I’m right you’re wrong but I said his knee was a concern and he didn’t look like he had power. Ragone I said didn’t have an NFL arm. He blew up at me to question his opinion on these players. I stood my ground and after the draft when he stated how dumb we were for trading up to get Polamalu and how he’d of got both Suggs and Ragone. Again an argument pursued. In 2005 when Ragone and Suggs were out of the league and Polamalu had been selected to back to back pro bowls he would not admit to his Suggs and Ragone mistakes or that Polamalu was a good pick but focused on Alonzo Jackson being a wasted pick. Yep, he definitely nailed that draft. I typically backed down from his arguments after that because too many people stroked his ego and it had become intolerable to have a civilized discussion that opposed his opinion. But in 2011 I was certain JJ Watt was worth giving up our entire draft Mike Ditka-esk to acquire him. I did not back down and he would not or perhaps better stated could not admit he was wrong. Fast forward to 2014 and the famed Dri Archer pick. I was on the side that a third round comp pick that could be a gadget player for the offense wasn’t a bad pick. He stated a player of his size wouldn’t make it in the NFL. He was right and I was wrong. He left after that thread only to return to make sure we all knew he was right and then left again. Good for him for being right on a pick that has a 12% chance of becoming a starter. Still wouldn’t answer me on JJ Watt though.

I do a mock along mock every year and post it on here. I do it to keep myself in check and to see how my draft picks end up doing. Right or wrong I keep it going.

i gotta agree with ford. tmc definitely put in a thorough body of work in his analysis, but the guy was a prick if you disagreed with him, regardless of whether or not one had a good argument. and half the board cupping his balls with every player profile he put up, it certainly didn't help matters.

"1 ) Based on what I've seen in games"...

I stopped here and nearly choked on my tea[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Now, while your assessment maybe correct - Bermuda sees two flaws.

1. He more than likely won't be available at 49.

2. We all know you barely watch Steeler games. Now you're telling us you watch college football??? GTFOOH!!!

There has been plenty of commentary on the rambling banana land of Coach speak, so no need to repeat it. However, this “formula” Coach speaks of....interesting.

Based on what he’s seen in games. How many “games” has Coach watched for Taylor, Dobbins, Akers, CED or even Darrington? Over/Under pretty easy to guess based on his next criteria.

Highlight clips from the web. Next to 40 times, Coach’s primary measuring stick. These “clips” are pretty much useless in any evaluator’s summation of a player. Clips are edited, with mostly duplicated screenshots of gameplay. True evaluators and scouts review game tape, preferably All 22 game tape, which all schools have, and allows review of the entire play. Did the player make the correct read, block the right man, hit the right gap, run the right route, see the protection...and hundreds of other minutiae that coaches look at as fundamentals in a player’s performance.

Historical data (stats) is fine but how you use them makes them useless as you frequently cherry pick stat categories and do not elaborate on the summaries of statistical analysis. For instance what is your summary of “level of competition “? How does your formula encapsulate the differences in conferences with/without conference championships?

Combine, and campus workouts. Yes, your record of idiocy is well documented with these tools. Tell us this, how do you evaluate between a player who performs at the combine than one who doesn’t? Short answer, you can’t. You can only evaluate the one who does perform. Plain and simple. You can’t compare when there is only one set of data. Statistics 101. Then again, you have been known to make up you own findings.

How can you postulate a formula that uses campus workouts, when none were performed? Why even list it? Most, if not all colleges cancelled their Pro days due to COVID-19. Was this listed to show validation in your opinion? If so, it actually devalued it because most here on this board knows there weren’t any Pro days...hence you can’t factor in what Taylor or Dobbins, Akers, CED or Darrington would have shown had they.

So to recap:

* Games watched - all speculation with no validation of said evaluation.
* YouTube clips/web - entertainment value is high, evaluation method is low (useless).
* Statistics - cherry picking data to fit an opinion rather than using all relevant data in proving a hypothesis.
* Combine/Pro days - workouts in shorts, not practice. Raw data without assessment. Pro days? There weren’t any so why even mention it as a part of your formula?

So basically...you like Taylor. Fine. But as to why he is first on your list? Please spare us your attempt at trying to be like TMC as a player evaluator. Because you are as close to him as a ant is to a human.

Oh before you reply, the one time you say you predicted better than TMC (Rivers) doesn’t make up for the many dozens of times he showed your ignorance for all to see.

BS. How do you know this? Because Slash told you? What a joke. Slash doesn't remember what I say half the time. I think I was clear on liking Watt for our #1 pick that year first. Others may have liked to him, but I didn't see them doing a mock draft with Watt first. I did. I also gave a full scouting review of the guy, and a Burns. Double bullseyes on both for me.

This board cracks me up. If only this board had a more extended history archive, I could have a field day once per week on what others said and contrast it with what I said with hindsight being the judge. OUCH, that would leave a mark on some of you.

I don't care who thinks what about anyone here. Slash is a low IQ angry type.
Ish, please...

Psst, Coach..it’s not a secret, if you are the only one who believes it. It’s also pretty easy to see none of it is true as well. Your narcissistic mind is still playing games that you don’t even understand.

My friends and family have already pointed out that you lack humility, which is why you are the one who doesn't garner much respect around here.

Feel free to drive your luxury car to Tampa and come hang out w/ the fellas - we'll treat you right...

For me I could care less if he admitted he was wrong or was irritating during a debate. I had moments of that when I was younger probably some of that still float around in my bathtub. Imperfect as we are. I focused in on his main body of work and the value that represented which was second to none. I didn't always agree with him but that mattered not. I enjoyed reading his detailed draft analysis, and being a draftnick knowing what is out there on the market? I have found few to rival it. Not unlike any heated debate you have to let the small stuff go and not hold onto it. Most of us have an annoying quality or two. I will give you a metaphor. In the coding world you get to communicate with a Dr. more than you would in a normal short term inpatient stay. They are often tunnel visioned in their responses, go by the beat of their own drum, set in their ways and don't always conform necessarily to what I want or what the hospital wants in its entirety. But yet there they are specialist in their area of expertise. The hospitals focus in on their main attributes over their idiosyncrasies. It isn't like you are wanting a lesser experienced Dr. as a result. No they focus in on their value which obviously neither of us could bring to the table. **** I couldn't even play a Dr. on TV. I will take that 7 days a week and twice on Sundays over some idiotic chest thumping maroon that sees a ten second highlight film mixed in with Walterfootball's opinion, a 40 time and thinks he is some sort of great talent evaluator. Then comes back a year later incorrectly remembering **** as if his memory is a virtual coloring book made up in his bizarro world of a mind held together page by page with digested Elmer's glue.

Hey third grader, ever hear of paragraphs? They make your incoherent ramblings more enjoyable for the reader.
Now write "I am a DOUCHE TOOL" on the blackboard 100 times.

I was thinking it was cooch's troll account to vent with his plethora of pent up frustrations. Or pop. Either or he exists to troll. Sad and pathetic attempts that have no effect on me. But I do like to get under his skin and smack him around like the little ***** that he is.[emoji16]

Slash, a while back his mom invited me over for a sleep over, me being a third grader meant just that, sleep over....nothing else. Well her and I were sleeping when I heard the upperclass man (4th grader) sneak into our room. I don't have anything against cuddling with one's mom but I couldn't figure out why he got inbetween her and I. "I wondered, could this be my dad".

Needless to say, I snuck out but not before I stole his verginity............ Havn't been back since.

You know what they say...........NOTHING brings more rath than a 4th grader scorn........
