Steelers VS the rats game thread part deux- hashtag season finale or is it ?

It boils down to the people who hate Tomlin and always have get annoyed any time somebody points to any reason that takes some of the onus off of him. That's why they can't stand to hear about injuries, player mistakes, etc. It's nothing new. Tomlin is to blame for plenty but to act like we were ever a serious threat to anything after Ben went out, you are just fooling yourselves.
 
I don't want to see the Steelers in the playoffs with maybe the worst offense in franchise history.

Bull. Benny ran 17 for 82. Just a tick under 5 yards a carry. Instead of running him we decided to pass in a monsoon. Cool shades also had our featured back on special teams running sprints on every punt and kickoff. We couldn’t use someone else to keep him fresh. This team has no one that has a clue.

No one is pounding their chests. Just sick to death of irrational anger when it isn’t warranted given the situation. I am proud they played hard all year. I am mortified by the play calling on offense and think we need a philosophy change their if we have any chance when Ben retires and we have average QB play. This year we didn’t even get that. Overall I thought this year was a fun ride today’s game aside and even today if we don’t have Hodge **** down his leg in the first half we would have had a chance to win. Our mistakes just fueled those *******.

Sure, it sucks losing the last 3 but everything finally caught up with this team. They WAY outperformed expectations since Ben went down in week 2. Season ends without a playoff birth as expected back then but with a bunch more wins and, unfortunately, no draft capital next year to make many improvements from where we stand now. Hopefully Ben makes a full recovery and this team, with this same D next year (even without Bud) can be special.

A big deal? It was the only deal. None of the other injuries even mattered all that much after Ben. Other franchises don’t lose Hall of Famers and do any better without some really abnormal happening. Ben was the one Injury we could not afford to have this year. Period.
