College Football Bowl Thread

No reason for that timeout on Penn State’s last TD drive....over 52 seconds left and third and goal with clock running. Gave Memphis way too much time to dink and dunk for the FG before halftime with a hot kicker. Could have churned another 25 seconds from the clock.

Yeah that was some bad clock management. If Penn State had just run the ball from the first snap this game would be over already. Memphis can’t stop it. They are just not big enough up front.

Agreed....5 yard gashes every time. They are also giving the Memphis pass attack way too much space from scrimmage. Giving me flashbacks to Chad Scott/DeWayne Washington.

PSU averaging 8.4 yards per rush (25 carries) and still throwing (12 for 24 attempts). Yet, they still pass.

This is a really good football game!

Now if only Jalen Hurts can upset LSU??? I know, I know - I'm an SEC man for life, but Jalen will always be Bama to me...
 
Penn State needs to run the ball. Leaving the game in Clifford’s hands is stupid.

Methinks you're right - especially when they come out w/ multiple WR's/TE's in the spread offense. Clifford doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer...

Tape loves the guy. To me, he’s just a guy. He just isn’t a very good QB, IMO.
 
Doesn’t help when D plays so off the LOS.
