College Football Week 14

Will Jim Harbaugh enter the transfer portal? That's what he does. He gets some quick early wins after inheriting a good team then leaves town a few years later before anybody realizes the team is no better than when he arrived.

How did you get “the SEC sucks” out of what I wrote? Or that anyone other than OSU could win a title for the big 10? I did say Texas sucks. They do. And if you read what I wrote, I said THIS YEAR. After LSU there is a drop off. Yes they are good football teams. NC caliber? Depends who else is in it I guess. Forgive me if I am not as impressed with the SEC the way SEC fans and ESPN are. I have said here multiple times they are the best conference. Not my fault you get butt hurt any time someone has something critical to say about the SEC.

You said that LSU schedule wasn't good and they are the best team in the conference. It isn't hard to draw a conclusion from there. Then you talked about Georgia not being that good and of course Bama isn't that good. Hell who is left that you feel is good in the SEC. So obviously you don't have high regards for the SEC this year.

Second, I knew this would draw tape and his SEC hating posts out of the woodwork. His post is nothing but Big 10 bias and SEC hate.

because you dared to say something that wasn't glowing and positive and that's the same as saying the SEC sucks. Just look at the SEC fans posts. They think the SEC is the only conference that has tough games. So Bama did not beat a ranked team this year (save that TAM nonsense) yet they feel Bama played a tougher schedule than Ohio State.

They don't think any team every plays anybody other than SEC teams. There may have been some years in the past where the SEC was much better but it hasn't been that way for the last few seasons and they still can't grasp that. What a coincidence that the SEC run of dominance ended after the practice of oversigning ended.

Show me one post where anyone says Bama played a tougher schedule than OSU. Just one. You can't. You SEC hate always come through even when you have to make up ****. Just like the other **** you make up about we think only SEC plays tough game. Please just one quote.. but you won't provide it. Just more made up BS.

BTW name the last Big 10 team outside of OSU to win a NC... show me all their dominance.... That's what I thought.

Not even close. I said that it sounds like that is why LSU is so good, rather than the conference. Did they beat good teams? Absolutely. Some of the best in the nation, no doubt. Are all of those teams NC caliber? Only to SEC fans. I’ll say it again. Those teams you mentioned are good football teams. Well, except Texas. But they just aren’t the world beaters you seem to think they are. I mean, Georgia lost to South Carolina. Who lost to Tennessee. Come on brother. Good teams? Sure, the SEC has a few. But damn, that conference has as many ****** teams as any other conference. And conference games are always tough, regardless of conference. But somehow beating Vanderbilt or Arkansas is better than beating Pitt or Stanford or Purdue. Come on.

Auburn probably did Bama a favor by keeping them out of the playoff. They would get killed by any of the top 4 teams.

Like I've said before, the SEC has more than 1 team capable of winning the SEC or the national championship. In the big ten it's just one team. OSU is all they have. LSU has a chance this year because they beat Bama, Auburn, Florida, and Texas. If they win the SEC they'll beat Georgia on top of that. This is why the SEC is so good. It isn't just one dominant team and then a bunch of teams that can't win a NC.

That was some ridiculously inept officiating. It was the most penalties ever in a single game by a Saban coached Bama team. That said, Auburn played their hearts out. This is hands down not only the most undisciplined team Saban's had since his first season at Bama, it's also the worst defense he's had since then too. Too much to overcome.

I agree, Clemson or OSU might've killled us. LSU, might be a different story considering we offered up our worst half of the season to them & still lost by less than a TD. Unlikely that would happen twice.

I never said they were world beaters. You said they weren't that good. No college team is going to play a lot of NC caliber teams. My contention is simply that the SEC has more teams that could win the NC in any given year. Who else in the big 10 is going to win? You just have OSU. So they aren't going to play any NC contenders in any year. Bama has dominated the SEC for years but they get beat from time to time by teams like LSU who can compete and win a NC. That's my point. Not that everyone in the SEC can win.

BTW I agree that most conference games can be tough and I never said Vanderbilt or Arkansas were better than other conferences teams. But nobody can stack up with Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Auburn every year. Then you have the second tier that can play well at times like Ms. State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, ETC. Most years you're going to have 3-4 teams that could win the NC. You don't have that in other conferences.

This year the SEC is down because it is very young across the board. Bama has 4 freshmen starting on defense. There isn't a starting senior on the entire offense.

I'm pulling hard for Georgia to do the impossible this week against LSU. From my perspective it's a mission impossible task. Which makes it perfect.

if georgia wins, it will give the committee their excuse to put both LSU and Georgia in there. They will screw over the Pac 12 and Big 12 champ.
