Please explain the bribery and extortion. Please, because I am wondering if it is anything like holding up foreign aid until the prosecutor that is investigating your son and the corrupt company he works for is fired. You mean like that? Because if it isn't like that, then I'm not sure why we're here at this place in time.
The thing about all of this, is that any time we give funding to a nation for any reason, there has to be something in return. We aren't giving away billions in tax payer dollars for nothing. Never have. The only way we give aid to any nation is if we have an interest there. If we don't have an interest, then we don't give them money. In every transaction, we give a nation X amount in aid. We expect something in return. It isn't charity. That money, the foreign aid, is our leverage. That money is how we get what we want. That being the case, every president in our nation's history is guilty of bribery and extortion, as defined by Democrats and, apparently, you.
Our nation has spent decades handing over trillions of dollars to corrupt regimes around the world to advance our interests. In this case, it appears the President Trump was leery of the new Ukrainian president and wanted to make sure that he was rooting out that corruption like he said he would, before we hand more money to a corrupt regime. I can agree that the optics are bad as far as the Biden's involvement, but there is nothing criminal in what the President did.
The part of this that just kills me, is that Congress is prepared to impeach a president based on 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th hand information, and yet that same congress claims to have debunked the "conspiracy theory" of Joe Biden holding back a billion dollars in funding until a prosecutor that is investigating his son is fired, despite the fact that Mr. Biden is on a well circulated video admitting it in a public forum. And you want me to trust THAT party of THAT congress to do the right thing? Ok.

An objective look at the latest polling proves the Impeachment Hoax is backfiring against Quid Pro Joe Biden.
Obviously, it was not supposed to be this way. Democrats and their establishment media allies were certain they had crafted a silver bullet that would accomplish two things at once: 1) doom President Trump’s re-election chances, and 2) shield Old Joe from the fact he and his son are guilty of looting China and Ukraine.
What a fail.
As of this writing, Trump sits at a relatively healthy job approval rating of 44.1 percent per the RealClearPolitics poll of polls. That’s only a single point lower than when the media and Democrats launched their Impeachment Hoax.
What’s more, in less than three weeks, Trump’s job approval has climbed almost four points.
Oh, and Slow Joe…?
The Impeachment Hoax has backfired spectacularly on Slow Joe.
As the media and Democrats attempt to find an impeachable offense, as they hold secret hearings, as they move the goalposts from a quid pro quo that can’t be proved (and would not be impeachable if it were) to the crime of — LOL — bribery, as Democrats and the media flounder around stepping on rakes, the Impeachment Hoax Spotlight is instead exposing the Biden Family Crime Syndicate.
Barack Obama put his vice president in charge of diplomatic relations with Ukraine and China, and Biden thanked him by sending his son Hunter in to loot both countries.
Unlike Trump asking Ukraine to investigate corruption, and tying federal aid to that request (which is appropriate), Joe and Hunter Biden’s brazen looting is a very simple crime for the American people to understand.
Hunter has no experience in the energy field, does not speak the language in Ukraine, and still he was awarded a seat on the board of the energy company Burisma, a company owned by a crooked oligarch who did not want to be investigated for corruption. While Burisma was in the middle of paying Hunter millions, Joe Biden used the threat of U.S. aid to force Ukraine to fire a prosecutor looking into Burisma.

Hunter hitched a ride on Air Force Two while Slow Joe visited China on behalf of the United States, and guess who secured a $1.5 billion — with a “B” — deal for his company while he was in China? Joe’s national lead in the Democrat field is sinking. He was up double digits pre-Impeachment Hoax. Now he’s down to a five point lead in the RCP poll of polls and Elizabeth Warren beats him by three in the most recent polling.
In Iowa, Biden has slipped to third place behind Warren and Pete Buttigieg. Pre-Impeachment Hoax, Slow Joe earned 29 percent support, and a ten point lead over second place. Now he’s dropped to just 17 points and is less than a point ahead of fourth place Bernie Sanders.
That is what you call a collapse.
In New Hampshire, Biden was edged out the pack with support in the low-20s pre-Impeachment Hoax. Now he’s at 19.7 percent support, tied with Warren and hardly a point ahead of Bernie.
Biden appears to be hanging on in Nevada and South Carolina, but there has not been much polling out of there of late. That could change quite dramatically, though, now that Obama has slapped Slow Joe with the most humiliating vote of “no confidence” in the history of the modern presidential campaign.
With former Gov. Deval Patrick joining the race (undoubtedly at Obama’s request), Biden now has some serious competition for the black vote that has so far kept him competitive.

You could argue what this has shown about Trump is nothing. He acts like he always acts. I find nothing he said in his phone call abnormal or so illegal to rise to high crimes and misdemeanors. He's not a politician. Doesn't play the games. Is brutally (sometimes stupidly) blunt and too the point. Has trouble with words and doesn't phrase things like a lawyer to always protect himself from attacks.
But this has KILLED Biden. He is now lumped in with all the other self-serving, vile, generational wealth/power Washington insiders he was "supposedly" too nice and naive to be apart of. His "uncle Joe" shtick is long gone. His son is clearly a terrible person, raised by a terrible father, to have no qualms about cheating the system for millions and millions of dollars.
Biden used to have this kind of "I'm above it all" appeal where if you vote for him, you'll get a genuinely good guy (maybe not very bright) that will bring normalcy and quiet back to the political world. This whole Ukraine thing destroyed that. He's as corrupt and self-serving as the rest of them. Just as bad as the Obamas and Clintons and Bushes (and the whole reason why Trump got elected in the first place).
People in this country are DESPERATE for a nice guy (or girl) and that tells an honest answer in politics and doesn't spin EVERYTHING into some political or legal game. I mean, MY GOD, we elected Donald Trump because at least his lies and exaggerations are funny and rile up the left.
The more that comes out of Ukraine, the more I realize our politicians in Washington (both sides) have been using them for DECADES as a money laundering, corrupt, shake down state to access oil, Russian and Chinese money.
There just isn't ONE redeeming person in this whole mess. Not ONE.

I hope by witness you mean someone who has no direct knowledge of anything? By witness you mean someone who is not in court or a trial and is giving pure opinion and conjecture? These so called witnesses have nothing that amounts to evidence of anything let alone evidence that would rise to the level of an impeachable offense. YOu would be screaming bloody murder if this was the Republicans acting this way towards a Democrat and you damn well know it. Hate is not a platform and it is all the Democrats have. Dems will pay for this outrage. Their witnesses aren't witnesses at all. They are saying that they heard from a guy who heard something about a call that someone else made. It's ridiculous. No one they have questioned has any first hand knowledge of anything. How they "feel" or what they "believe" about something is irrelevant.
This just shows the dems know they can't beat Trump at the ballot box. The American people should be ready to throw these bums out for this horrible display of partisan treason. Schiff should be put under oath and questioned about him and his staff working with the "whistle blower".

And that's just it. This is all political theater. I have said it 100 times. If they had something, it would be all over the place. This is a fishing expedition. I heard from a staffer, I think, I feel, I believe.
Does anyone actually think that this nonsense is going to end with anything other than articles of impeachment and a trial in the Senate? It is a forgone conclusion. Everyone already has their mind made up, and that needle isn't moving.
