1997 Kordell Stewart was better than Mason so far too. We know how that turned out.

The ravens are running the ******* option. Why do people insist on giving Jackson credit for being a great QB? RG3 was going to change the game too, until he got hurt. It's only a matter of time until Jackson gets hurt.

Funny, I remember saying the same thing to my cousin about Vick. Sure as ****, the ratbirds broke him that preseason.

Was he? My memory of Kordell's play isnt that he was. I'll have to look back and see what 20 plus years does to my memory of him.

Until today, Steeler D blew 4th qtr leads with regularity, Ravens don't.

Looking back through all your posts.. why the **** do you post here? Don’t ravens have some place you can go to?

1997 Stewart was leading the league in TDs, rushing/passing combined.
D-coords were completely focused on Stewart as he was far and away the mist dynamic playmaker in the league.

Then Pete Carrol figured out Stewart can't throw after he breaks the pocket.

98-99 were long and terrible years. 2001 was a teaser and the rest was crap. The inaccurate passing dumbfounding. I was done with him after the 98 season for sure. I did think he should've switched to WR and given up the QB fantasy.

This is why I hate it when people drool over the new QB who looks good for a stretch. How many times have we seen QBs be on top of the world and then the league gets enough film on them, figures out their weakness and they go to ****?

It seems to happen most frequently with running QBs. They have early success because most teams don't have the time to prepare to stop a quirky offense. They have success running and they get to throw against easier coverages.

I think the Pats caught on by the end of the game against Jackson but it was too late then.

We saw it with Kordell. When it works, it looks unstoppable, but then there's always that game where the defense stops the run, they grab a lead and that running QB has to make plays from the pocket.

That's what happened to Jackson last year vs the Chargers.

This morning on the radio I heard the host pretty much putting Jackosn in the HOF. He had on a guest, former Safety Bernard Pollard and he expected him to agree, Pollard said No. Jackson will get to the playoffs and then get stopped because he'll face teams with a year's worth of film on him and they will shut him down. The host seemed pissed that anybody would dare question the great Lamar Jackson.

Kaeperdick was another running QB who was figured out and done for. But for a while he was the **** according to the talking heads anyway.

This thread is kinda dumb...You have a statue versus the hottest QB in the League...Quit being Homers guys. Mason so far is winning because of our D...Don't get it twisted Mason is probably botttom 10 QB in the League. And he is a ******* statue

I’d like to give Mason Rudolph a chance to work with the three TE’s Jackson is having a ton of success with.

Mason has his flaws, but it doesn't help when your receivers are dropping and fumbling the game away.

Very true, but I've seen Mason throw ****** inaccurate pass after ****** inaccurate pass, after ****** inaccurate pass. High, low, behind the receiver. He NEEDS to improve his accuracy big time. And I think/hope he will.

YOU were the one who was mad. One complete game by the defense does not make them SB contenders.

I never realized not knowing the truth and living in a parent's basement are correlated. Good to know.

I just made an incredible bone in ribeye over my firepit. 3 inch thick cut. cooked it just a little over mid rare so the fat kinda pops. Love it!
