Add Josh Gordon ???

Gordon is finished as a big play guy. Even with Brady, he was mostly a possession type guy. Just look at who the Pats replaced him with. Sanu, the poster child or possession WRs.

I don’t see bringing him in and hoping against injury and relapse for a guy who will just be pretty good.

Wait until he is a free agent then give him a physical? If he could behave himself he would be an upgrade over Mongrief. Which would allow the Steelers to dump his salary.
 
I have no problem if they give Gordan a look. I do not recall him being a team cancer just cant stay off the wacky weed. I think he could definitely help
 
Adding him wouldn't cost a pick via trade, so why not? Washington and Moncrief are not tearing it up and him and JuJu would look nice together. For a half a season look, I would. He has size and speed.
 
Washington has been very disappointing more than Moncrief as of pre season Washington was tearing it up as the #2 and season starts and he is a complete flake.

Definitely on Washington. I was fired up for him coming out of preseason.

Moncreif - we know he has a broken finger. That is the money body part for a WR so I could accept that impacting his performance, but if that is the case then list him on injury list or IR him. Not listing him says the finger isn't impacthign his performance (in which case the performance is substandard)
 
This would be a great pick up...We need someone who commands attention to take the pressure of BOTH Mason & JUJU...

I would have offered a 7th for him as a rental, not sure why they didn't

Every notable schmuck that comes available, you fall head over heels for. Settle down, this team wasnt going to the Superbowl because Josh Gordon is playing receiver for them

At the same time there is a need for a WR and a want to can one so that a comp draft pick comes our clubs way. Perhaps it isn't so much falling heads over heals for a player than it is falling heads over heals wanting deficiencies addressed some how some way. And the biggest issue right now can arguably be directed towards the wide receiver position.

I think Omar is just seeing things realistically. Sure you can say add this person or that person. It was crazy or stupid that we passed so and so over....in the end I think everyone knew we wouldn't add Josh. Or at least 99% of everyone.
 
If the Steelers wanted to bring someone in, they can always bring in Dez Bryant. I don't want he or Gordon but if I had a choice, I'd bring Dez in and kick the tires 1st.

It was a improbability. But crazier things have happened. Try not to put a percentage on other posters unless you can read each individuals mind.:bump2:
