Add Josh Gordon ???

I'd love to see Josh Gordon in B&G. Him and JuJu could be special. At league minimum, of course. He has more question marks than answers, but he's intriguing enough. Big body, athletic and fast. If he doesn't work out, you move on. Still enough of this season to see if he could fit. We need someone to help out the WRs. At the price:talent ratio, sure, why not?

More likely they are going into full rebuild mode, hopefully with a new coach sooner than later.

I expect Tomlin will get the Steelers (somehow) to the magical 8-8 and the world will hail him as the greatest coach EVER! And he'll get a massive extension and money deal because, hey - if he can go 8-8 without Roethlisberger, imagine what he could do WITH Roethlisberger... erm... wait.

You got someone better in mind to bring in? He torched as and played with us....Someone said in this thread bring in wide receivers wasn't gonna help..So I'm gonna go scout the YMCA to see if I can find someone, ANYONE who can catch a damn ball....

It's all good . You all can keep playing Madden. Reality is he will never be a Steeler. Hell the Pat's would be stupid to even release him.
 
Do it!

Sign Skipper and re-assign Lynch to the practice squad. Release Moncrief (so we can keep our 3rd round comp pick?) then sign Gordon once he is released from the Patriots

That's entertainment!
 
The eye test says the dude is balling....We need that big ******* target downfield...We better start changing the ******* STEELER (2-4) way & start getting in on some of these reclamation projects.

Robby Anderson WR, New York Jets



The New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports the Jets have made Robby Anderson available ahead of next Tuesday's trade deadline.

This isn't the first time New York has contemplated moving Anderson, as the deep threat drew interest from the Eagles, amongst other teams, at last year's deadline. The Eagles certainly make sense again. With Anderson on the cusp of free agency, the 1-5 Jets are hoping to flip him for a draft pick in 2020. Per Mehta, Gang Green is also shopping former first-round pick Leonard Williams. The trade deadline is set for Tuesday at 4 PM ET.

We don't have a lot of trade capital left. Burns may be the only asset we have to move right now and I am not really sure how strong the market for him will be. DL and OLB are thin. RB, TE, WR, QB are thin. We already moved on OL this year. No 1st or regular 3rd next year and our 3rd round comp for Bell is no longer a slam dunk it seems.
 
can teams get some sort of medical on his knee before placing the claim? I guess if you claimed him and then found his knee to be bad, you could waive him again. Does that impact your waiver spot?
 
anybody know where the Steelers currently fall on the waiver wire order? Does the NFL even publish it?
 
need to know more on the knee!

don't want to bring in some cripple but then again may not want to miss out on a drug suspension / injured / melcontent who may have his addiction under control and HUMBLED enough to be the player we need.
