Steelers vs Ravens prediction thread

At 1-3 a win here would be huge, perhaps putting us tied for first place in the division. A loss would be devastating 1-4.


For the first time in what seems like forever, I like our secondary. The pass rush is very good. If the Steelers stop the run and make Jackson beat them passing, I like our chances.


On offense, I expect more of the same with Rudolph.


Can the Steelers stop a good rushing attack? Yes but they have to commit men up and use Bush to spy Jackson which means the DB's need t play well


If the games come down to coaching strategy, in-game adjustments, and clock management, I think the Ravens will win it. If the game comes down to a key call by an official...same thing. Our margin for error is thin.


I like the Steelers to win because the defense is looking better, the Ravens aren't that good, and we are at home.

It's hard to predict anything other than a typical Steelers-Ravens slug-it-out affair, a lot of grinding, huffing & puffing and FG's galore. Steelers bottle-up Jackson, put the clamps on Ingram, and do just enough on O to eek one out.

13-10 Steelers.

Ah, **** that. They take the leash off Mason, mess with the Ratbirds' peanut brains with zany wildcat plays, force Jackson into bad decisions and win going away 35-17. Yeah, I like the sound of that much better.

...it’s worth noting that the Ravens defense has already given up six pass plays of 40 yards or longer through four games and they currently lead the NFL in that dubious stat. That defense also currently ranks in the bottom third of the NFL in deep passes completed against it.

Dipshit will probably call mostly running plays since long passes will be just what they're expecting. Sometimes you'd swear The Bruce was calling plays.

sorry, not buying that this coaching staff is going to have the team locked in, to a sound game plan, two games in a row. we get by the ******-*** bengals and everyone in that locker room is feeling warm and fuzzy and full of accomplishment, ravens will bring them back down to earth day after tomorrow. and harbaugh has a history of making tomlin wet himself on the sidelines. prove me wrong, mike, you bug-eyed sad excuse for a coach.

I'm still not sold on our D at all. We definitely have the talent but the "communication issues" (i.e. coaching) tend to increase substantially when we play a team that has weapons all over the field. The Ravens have a running QB, good RB's, very good TE's, and fast WR's. To win, I think we need to score a lot.
