Le'Veon Bell on the Jets

Really it’s not about “we” spending money....

The Steelers organization would have done so if he wasn’t a polarizing individual who was one drug test from being out for a year ....

Case in point:

Money has been spent on Joe Haden & Roethlisberger—not to mention Ryan Shazier who will never play again.

Let’s be honest, nobody here cares about the contract amount—if he signed we’d be defending it

From his point of view, he knew the drug test thing was in his control and he wouldn't fail another one.

From the Steelers point of view it was "pull the other one".

I wish he would have played under the tag. He rolled the dice and lost. The only thing that bothers me about it is that he pretended he'd be here for the season, then became a ********.

I still think he originally intended to play under the tag until Gurley got paid. To him, I am sure that validated what he wanted so he dug in. Shortly after, K Mack got traded and paid when he stood his ground with the Raiders. I suspect that caused Bell to dig in deeper. If there was ever a doubt about his position at that point, it was solidified when the SEA S broke his leg. From Bell's perspective, that all validated his position.

Like others, I don't like how he handled it but I can't say I blame him for trying to max his compensation. He at least played within the bounds of the CBA. He did not sign the franchise tender so he was not breaking or ignoring a contract he agreed/signed.

I think the earl Thomas injury may have swayed him as well

Bell 13 rushes for 28 yards, 2.2 yards per carry so far vs the cheats.

What a bunch of nothing games. Most aren't even competitive. KC has a 17 point lead. Pats*** have a 23 point lead. Vikings have a 24 point lead. Cowboys have an 18 point lead. Just crap games.

The Cheats have an awesome D, though. They haven't given up a TD since last year some time.

Comparing his stats in this game, to any while in a steelers uniform is apples to oranges. He never had to play with the 3rd string QB while he was here. I love conner, I'd still like to have bell. They would be an awesome 1-2 punch, and bell could totally take pressure off juju right now.

It's his own stupid fault. He deserves every bit of it. Thanks to his own selfishness he probably derailed his career in his prime. Way to go idiot.

It takes a team. It looks like he picked the wrong team. The remainder of his best years will be frustrating. We all make bad choices. If he manages his money well ,it won't matter.

He is their entire "offense", now. Faulk had 12 completions, 4 to bell.

Coach is a moron.

They are rushing right at Bush. 5 yards.

We have Bell in this game we win easy

I definitely miss him. He’s playing on a crap show team with a guy at QB who might not even start in the XFL.

With Bell in this game they still probably average around 3.5 yards per carry and stack the box. Let's not pretend the Steelers haven't had the offense look incompetent on the West Coast before...and that was with teams STACKED with talent.

Seeing his ****** stats and reading more insanity from Brown were the only football related bright spot of my day.
