Is Mike Tomlin happy Antonio Brown and Bell are gone?

Bell can f himself. Brown we will miss on game day. Guy was a gamer. injury free as well. I’d rather him sit than join New England.

At least we have a happy locker room. Everyone now loves each other and can hold hands while singing happy little songs. Unfortunately, I guess you still need some kind of talent on the team. One good WR and QB isn’t going to cut it.

Having a guy like that in the locker room, when it went to that extreme, can destroy a team. One guy's actions make it miserable for his teammates and probably gets to the point where some of them don't even want to show up to work so they don't have to deal with it.

You mad at Bell because Conner put up another stinker? 2.1 ypc? Thats 3 games now with under 30 yards of rushing.

Personally, I predict AB has a meltdown on the sideline or social media or both by Week 6. Bell will be on IR or at least miss several games by Week 8.

I think Brown will not like being one of a pack of great receivers. Heck, he didn't even like having to compete with one.

3 of the last 7 Games have been fumbled away by the "Killer J's"

Spin That

There does come a point of running out of talent. You can't take the best WR in football off a team and expect the same results. However, Ben is the key factor not the WRs. As long as Ben is healthy the offense will score points. If the don't win this year it won't be because of the offense IMHO.

Check out Nostradamus here!

...I'd honestly rather lose than have those two on the team, in fact it's player personalities like them that has caused me to massively lose in interest in the NFL the last few years
AHA! We have Ivan to blame for all this!

Check out Brown and Bells stats this season. How could anyone miss them?

Tomlin created the Young Money culture. In the end, they were too dumb to stick together and at least maximize their collective mediocrity.

Tomlin is 3-6 in his last nine playoff game with Ben. He beat a back up Qb vs the Miami Dolphins and a Cincinnati bengals team that self destructed and handed us the game.

Without Ben he’s being exposed big time.

He going to have a losing season this year. Please trade him now, he’ll fit perfectly in Washington DC!

Wexell let the cat out of the bag when he wrote that Tomlin wouldn't fire Butler after the Jags debacle because "he would be firing himself."

That game was Judgment Day and the unraveling is certain at this point. Tomlin's days are numbered here. Kicking the FG in NE was the sign of a defeated man. No false bravado and chest pounding against bottom feeders is going to allow the masses to "unsee" that.

I don't see him going anywhere until Ben retires. Ben likes Tomlin and doesn't want a new HC. I disagree with it but it is what it is.

Belicheat pumps up his record against bottom feeders too, difference is he wins games come playoff time.

I think he meant the act of physically pounding his chest. Which in all reality is kind of embarrassing. Cowher was a player in the NFL and is as emotional as they come and I don't know if he ever got close to actually pounding on his chest for several seconds. Not to pile on Mike Tomlin, but it is what it is.

Cincy had a back up AB also

Thats because Ben is a moron who doesn’t want to be coached by a real Coach and likes to be a moron. That’s the Reason he didn’t get along with cowher but his best football was his
Second season , under cowher

True. That is one thing I've faulted Ben for over the years. He wants to be left alone to do his thing. But he doesn't realize that good coaching can make him and the team better and more balanced. Ben is almost unstoppable with play action and a good power running game.

I’m laughing at Bell. So over rated. Brown might be finished playing football with legal problems.

Rbs are a dime a dozen. bells value was that he could seamlessly switch to any wr position and run routes well. Its only useful if ...
A. You have an OC who can utilize that well
And
B. Youhave a QB that can get him the ball...

He was a star supporting actor, not a central figure...

Gotta agree as well here. Ben didn't like Haley but I'll speculate that a lot of that had to do with Haley not treating him with kid gloves & not letting him do whatever he wanted to do. I heard there was friction between he and Cowher, him & Whisenhunt , then Haley etc. What seems to be the constant there? And absolutely, Ben was deadly with play-action. Nowadays he seems to be operating out of the shotgun about as much as college QBs are.

haley extended Ben's career, wether you like the guy or not he has to get credit for that

The offense is obviously worse when the OC is a FOB (Friend Of Ben's). O was better under Haley than it was under The Bruce or Fichtner.

Haley utilized the short quick passes that ben excelled at but hated stretching the field... arians deep routes drew safeties off all the time but he had no short game that would work in the end zone... fitch utilizes both of their plays but im not sure he can draw up his own.

To date, the best OC ben had was Wiz... he used the full field, motioned to get plays open and used the run and the pass effectively...
