It looks like everyone showed up in low key fashion.. just ready to work, no grand entrances. Well, no one until Eli Rogers shows up.. https://twitter.com/JFowlerESPN/status/1154482994645741574

This dude looks like a total clown. He's already on the bubble of making the team, his chances just took another hit IMO.
Besides, that stuff is played out and waste of money.

I see AB has rubbed off on him.

Tomlin could totally eliminate the question of who is in charge............................ Eliminate / fine / or make a humility example at the first official team function. Call him out and let HIM and every player know that this B.S. will NOT be tolerated. I realize players need fun but not this grand-standing with what this team has just been through. Maybe I'm a little old school or to tough on this ***** aged society, but the sheep can't run wild.

Salute the nation

Rogers, who is on the bubble to make the team comes in like that? Big balls I guess.

Lot of balls, or maybe little brains, to pull this off while still being basically a nobody.

I'm thinking a little bit of both.

I thought bringing in the creature comforts to the dorm was always cool. The flat screens and video games and mattresses. All that **** with the AB vehicles, though it certainly didn't start with him set a bad tone.

It's not so much a big deal, since it's only Eli Rogers, a player who is not sure about making the team (even if I'd be surprised if he's cut or traded) but I would have liked that Rogers is a little more serious!

But this is not a huge deal.

After watching Jalen Ramsey show up in an armoured vehicle yesterday, I almost started a thread questioning who would be fool enough to arrive at Steelers training camp doing something like this.
I am all with you, Drink as far as Tomlin laying down some discipline. Hello Diontae Spencer and Ryan Switzer good bye Eli I would use him as the tackling dummie once contact drills start and demote him to the Practice Squad if he survives

Have to totally disagree with you on this. Tomlin is probably boiling inside. It is bad enough what we experienced with the toxic twins and social media questioning the culture in Pittsburgh. Now you have a virtual nobody on this team pulling this ****. I would personally release him on day one of camp to set the "new" tone for how this team is going to operate from here on out. Go Steelers

Who started this bullshit anyway? Was it James Harrison or Brett Keisel? Keisel showed up in a tractor, James in a smart car (which wasn't bad).

I heard a rumor Jalen was an undercover fruitpop.

I think James showed up in a fire truck.

I don't see why anyone gets all up in arms about this. Seems irrelevant to how the people actually play.

I think, one year, all of the OL showed up in Smart Cars. I think that **** is funny.

Have a guy show up in the back of an armored car and get out all wrapped in bubble wrap.

Personally, and this applies to Rogers too a display of "I'm here to put in work" is ok. Or a smart car is ironic. Helicopters, and super pimped cars with chauffeurs is a look at me and I'm different then the rest of you *******.

Who cares... today was show up day.

Tomorrow is get your *** to work day. If he’s locked in and focused and ready to play he can help this team.

If he’s not then he won’t be around in 3 weeks.

I think James showed up in a fire truck.

Deebo came in a SmartCar one year and a fire truck another time, which he drove himself because he does in fact have a commercial driver's license.

I would hope that Tomlin would address this to the entire TC squad, and clearly identify that non-football attention causing one player to stand out from the team, like this, gets that player one step closer to the door.
Then, if Rogers gets cut/traded, Tomlin gets credit for discipline.
If Eli makes team, then he will have had to step up to atone for this dumbassery.

Well, Harrison & Keisel are legends compared to this guy (I think one of those guys even won DPOY). I just don't think it's very smart for an on the bubble player to be showing up like that.
