Camp Arrivals

It's just the timing of it that makes it look bad, after the drama of AB and Bell, if this were 5 years ago it would've been fine and pretty funny.

I think that is the point,...... It all. Regardless of big or small, starts somewhere. A clown / Mike Wallace / bell all started their CHIT small and grew and grew and grew. TOMLIN needs to say something and we don't even know as to he probably did make a deal out of it, hopefully a disciplinary thingy. Unchecked this could grow.

Tomlin could totally eliminate the question of who is in charge............................ Eliminate / fine / or make a humility example at the first official team function. Call him out and let HIM and every player know that this B.S. will NOT be tolerated. I realize players need fun but not this grand-standing with what this team has just been through. Maybe I'm a little old school or to tough on this ***** aged society, but the sheep can't run wild.

You're so funny. This is Tomlin we're talking about. Not gonna happen.:spy:

Eli will more than likely get beat by Switzer.
The whole showing up to work in a rig is kinda trivial imo.

Just be prepared to back up the ego.

I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing at all. This is not elitist, this is not a helicopter with his family in tow. This is not a custom Rolls Royce.

This is Eli, finding a family or friend, or fan, who is a truck driver, and give him a chance to come and see camp with him. His dress is a metaphor on this season. He's showing up to work, and work hard. I'm surprised anyone in Pittsburgh would get triggered from a guy showing up in camp dressed as a blue collar worker, being dropped off by another blue collar worker...

Blue collar workers show up to work, they don't put on a display of "look at me."
His whole entrance is actually contradicting itself, I guess its.. I'm here to work but first, I need to let everyone know this in a clever way...
Also, you really think he did it for the sake of the guy driving being able to see camp?? Yeahhh.. ok.

Bottom line, he looks like an *** clown.

He better keep it running since he may not last too long in camp!
Look at me, look at me, what an idiot.

Guys, this was pointed out during his arrival by one of the DKSports folks. This was an entrance to allow JuJu to “slip in camp unnoticed” (he wasn’t), a couple people saw him enter through the side entrance. Barron did the same thing to avoid the hoopla.

I would speculate Eli did it for JuJu, or was asked to. Eli is as humble as they come. I’m pulling for both him and Switz.

You know Cope, after I had the night to sleep on it, I feel the same way. I overreacted in my OP.

To Eli Rogers, sorry bud. You do 'need to go to work', however - Git 'er done!!!

You're more than likely right Cope but after the ChitsizZle this team / franchise has just experience, we're all a little antsy in this regard. I truly hope it's nothing and doesn't entice others. I'd venture to say if it was a problem,..... OUR team leaders would have already addressed it as they've shown this is a team and we are working as that.

I hope the psyche of this team isn't so fragile that they can't handle a borderline WR showing up to camp in a truck.

I don't care if Rogers message by arriving that was to get to work. Given the direction this team is trying to head, a borderline roster receiver making a scene arriving at camp was a clown look. Other years I wouldn't blink an eye, but guys only do this for the cameras.
