Best Players to NEVER Play in the Super Bowl

Ok maybe not Jim Thorpe. But Warren moon and Dickerson come to mind

Carson Palmer of recent years comes to mind

Warren Moon, another great stat QB who just couldn't do it in the playoffs
and another old Oiler, Dan Pastorini. He would get talked about a lot more if he had been able to get past the Steelers in 78 or 79..hell of a tough guy.

He won championships just not in the NFL. If he had played his entire career in the NFL he would probs hold every record possible

10 Sterling Sharpe
9 Randall Cunningham
8 Dan Diordorf

None of these three would make my list.

I'd add: OJ, Dickerson, Campbell

Consider:

Antonio Gates
JJ Watt
Moon

How about the BEST STEELERS player to NOT play in a super bowl

Ron mentioned Stewert and that would have been one of mine, what about Kirkland?? Hardy Knickerson??

Best Steelers to never play in a SB? Levon Kirkland did play in a SB, SB XXX. But I'll go with some newer guys and say Cam Heyward & David DeCastro. Cam Heyward may get some different opinions on how good he really is, but when the guy is on (assuming zero injury issues holding him back), I think he's one of the best in the game.

Good choice Steelworth but I was kind of thinking NON-active players and you're right on Kirkland. I'm non-active memory for some reasoning today. It's hard to find Great STEELERS players (non-active) who haven't played in SB. Once the meMEme twins are out, they will be top on this list.

Louis Lipps comes to mind

95 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Super Bowl loss to the Rams. The other two are real good choices.

Thanks Fan, for the life of me I only envision Eddie in a Oilers uniform.....I totally Lloyd Christmas that one!
