Yeah, you have to believe the "only with Cowher players" BS to keep that alive, though.
 
I am thinking speed at the linebacker position and Nelson will be a huge difference in our defense this year. I cant wait for this season and see how it unfolds

Nobody gets "hurt" by predictions. But a few of them look silly. As much as some of the haters think a SB appearance is nothing more than a dream, others think it is silly to give a team that year to year is over .500 a below .500 record.
 
I think sometimes when you see the SB predictions it is just a fan hoping for the best. The team usually shows between 9 and 13 wins. Some think Tomlin won't get them back to a SB and win one. At times I am very much in this crowd of thinking.

But they changed some coaching responsibilities around, and were aggressive attacking weaknesses in the draft and free agency.

And there has been times I thought no way they do anything (during the season) and proved me wrong.

Ben is SB capable, and that window is shrinking. And he knows it.. So we will get his best effort.

And they have good reason to want to team bond, and that sometimes can bring good things.

If the coaches don't get in their own way who knows?

Fitchner needs to spread out the running back's touches. Not be afraid to give Conner a break and yet keep the game flowing. I don't know how much Tomlin meddles in this but Fitchner needs to find a way to play all three, obviously showcasing Conner but NOT letting him get his wheels run off.

The new LBs coach needs to show why Joey was let go. Last year a 1-week Ex-Giant LB coach shows proof.

I'm anxious to see the coaching responsibilities changes....... Will our challenges improve?? How about time outs??? With the meMEme distractions gone will TOMLIN be able to focus more on ACTUAL coaching and in-game adjustments, both thought up himself and Cooridnanter's suggestions.

Lastly, how about bubble-chewey ST coach??? Will he do anything to lift his unit out of 27th ranking..........???

I think that, without Ben, Cowhers players didn't win anything. Rooney pushed them into taking Ben and suddenly Cowhers players won.

If those players could win without the coaching, why did they go 8-8 in 2006?

I agree that Ben was the catalyst to our Thumb ring. Tomlin has had so many more years to take advantage of Ben though and the outcome has been less than stellar.

It's been downright disgraceful. Add in the cheater's cheatriot fact that Cowher would quite well of had two more SBs without Ben. Where are all the playoff wins for Tomlin with his FRANCHISE QB??? under-performing

This has been hashed and re-hashed countless times.
