Steelers Trade up to get Bush

Bush seems like a special player, we'll see what he can do in the NFL against the big boys. Kudos to the Steelers for taking that extra step, trading up and getting this kid, obviously a player they had identified & targeted to be the pick.

Ballsy move, A+ for effort

Even though it was pretty ugly, I liked his little tribute to Nashville with the guitar garb. Didn't know Derrick Brooks is his godfather. And he couldn't hold back the tears. Hope the best for this seemingly awesome young man.

The gave up a 1/3/6 moved up 11 spots to get Polamalu 15 years ago. Now they give up 1/2/3 next year to move up 10 slots. Good trade for Denver. We’ll have to wait and see what becomes of bush.

I was flipping back and forth this afternoon between NFL Network and ESPN and I can’t remember who said it, but they were talking about who they thought would be the biggest impact defensive player. One guy picked Bosa and one picked Bush.
 
Bold move, and this deal along with signing Barron and Moncrief tells me they want to win now.

Not even close. Very well-rounded, smart & humble young man. Not to mention a natural leader. Just watch some interviews etc.

And the outfit was a guitar which I assume is a tribute to Nashville, even though yeah, it was pretty ugly.
 
I'm very happy we got Devin Bush. IMO he's better than Devin White......time will tell but I love the fact that they went and got the player for the position so desperately needed after Shazier's injury 2 seasons ago. Day 1 starter and there's no looking back now. Not to mention we prevented Cincy from taking him with the #11th overall pick.

And when they've moved up before (Casey Hampton, Troy Polamalu), good things happened. I'm sure they knew what they were doing with this one.

We now have Devin Bush, signed, stamped and delivered to Pittsburgh, PA. Rock n Roll. Very much looking forward to seeing what comes next.

At least some of it is deferred to next year and we have 2 picks in the 3rd round. Get creative and combine some of those late round 6 picks to move up in the third or possibly back into the 2nd round.

Totally agree with you, those late picks don't have much chance of making the team. We need a TE and a WR desperately! Lots of good WR's but most are projected to go in second. TE's are very weak in this draft.
 
Who cares what goofy outfit some 20-year old chose to wear on draft night.

But yeah, it's pretty funny. I'm sure his teammates will get on him for the bizarro oufit. ;)
