Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Antonio Brown has asked for a trade. The news comes minutes after Brown

I hope he wants traded enough to actually pay back some of that signing bonus. Wait, because he has probably spent it all (thus the reason for trad)e he will have to get deal where they excessive pay so he can pay back some to STEELERS as incentive for them to trade him. It all comes down to $$$$numbers and the STEELERS willingness to trade and get a "market value" out of him.

Dream scenario: The Raiders pony up draft picks the way they did when it came to Martavis Bryant. I mean, nobody ever would've guessed that one would go down like that, so here's hoping for two R1s :D

The Raiders have three 1st round picks.

Pick #24, and #27 for Brown. I'd take it!

#20 Steelers select Corner Byron Murphy
#24 Steelers select NT/DT Dexter Lawerence
#27 Steelers select Wide Receiver Deebo Samuel

Round two: ILB Hanks
Round three: FS

And let's not forget we don't have Brown's cap number if traded in 2020 and beyond, correct?

I have to say three 1st round draft picks total would be attractive...

It will all depend on what the market is. But Oakland would be more likely to give up one 1st round pick and their 3rd pick in 2nd or 2nd pick in the 3rd.
They have the most draft capital to get him if they want him. Any other team offering two picks would likely give up 1 2019 and 1 2020.

If Brown wants to help dictate where he goes, his agent would have to give up some of his signing bonus.

What a Diva. He has to make being a little ***** an experience. You can ask all you want, but you signed a very big contract and the Steelers own your ***. As if he has any say in this matter. the Steelers started shopping him the day he missed activities before the Bengals game. If the price is right he will be gone. but you are not in Lev Bell's position AB.

And I realize its all speculation and such, but picking 3 guys in the 20s, and getting a reliable ILB, CB, & WR with Brown as your loss, that's a culture shift in your locker room if the cards are played right.

I GUARANTEE that's what this is all about.
He sees other WRs who can't hold his jock, getting paid more.
Of course, he didn't mind that contract two years ago when he was the highest paid WR in the game.

Okay Steeler Nation, AB's new Official name from henceforth on this Forum....

Antonio *****

So let it be written, so let it be done.....

the reports that he is not going to fetch more than a 4th better be BS if SF wants him to better pony up 36 and several picks.

The Steelers should use this opportunity to ask AB to reneg his contract!

Kid not get his way so he stomps and bouts and wants traded...……. don't let the door hit your backside on way out. …..Time the Steelers got back to winning football games instead of all the soap opera actions

No way in hell do I trade the prick to SF where he wants to go unless it is for their next 5 first round picks.

Get real, SF first rnd (2nd overall) and 10mil back on signing bonus, gone in less than a heartbeat.

I don’t think teams are going to offer as much as some of you all think.... he’s a 31 year old WR with his best years behind him. Add to that he’s a headcase... I’m thinking maybe a 2nd and 3rd round pick might be the best that’s offered

I still say a 3rd and a 6th. Regardless I don’t think you get a 1st of any kind. The guy is a drama queen head case. Regardless of how talented he is, I just don’t see teams lining up to offer that kind of capital for guy that is likely to poison your locker room if he has a bad game. It is fun to dream, though.

This^^^^^^. And because of this ^^^^^, we will spend 21 or 23 million dollars this year with very little to show for it. This is my fear.

This whole thing is a nightmare. Huge talent leaves, we pay 21 million and for what is likely the type of picks you describe.

I acknowledge that we will likely get less than we expect. With the exception of Bryant last year I dont recall the Steelers ever getting as much as I expected. However, I'm sorry but you are not getting this guy for at LEAST a high two. It's a shity FA Wr. Crop. So it's a flyer on a draft pick or a All pro probably hall of fame talent. Some baggage sure. But tell me about a great player that has been traded without baggage.
