I'm not sure what these stats prove,

Dude I ain't bitter just real. I call out nonsense when I see it. I'm sorry you're blind .Are you like 14 years old? If not you may want to give the gif folder a little rest. It's unbecoming of a grown man to retort in such a manner. It's childish.

But hey stew in your own childish demeanor if it someone how helps your ego to feel superior.

No. I'm not 14. I also don't obsess over some other team like a 14-year old might tend to do. Ego to feel superior? These threads get pasted on this website for EXACTLY THAT REASON, for everyone here who is overcome with obsession for all things new england. I just find the gifs funny, that's all.

imitation is the highest form of flattery. Thank you, slashsteel! you can continue to huff/puff/drool over the patriots now.

Just like anyone else. I want a genuine game. Nothing more or less. Just like all of the ******* who juiced to the gills to break all of the homerun records. It's rubbish.

Just curious....where does Lance Armstrong fit into this. He got caught..., lied about it, got caught again. Is he treated the same as the NE franchise in general?

He had to relinquish all his titles and return money................... The truth hurts but in football's NFL case the truth would be a HUGE money loss and that just isn't going to happen. As fans we can't do jack **** unless someone does an expose and that would risk life and limb. Getting someone to talk will be difficult but somewhere down the line, it will come out, the truth. Specter had the ball turning but health issues got him first.

BOTTOM line is the NFL is entertainment and can do anything it wants, including manipulation, to acheive the outcome of business wanted. We as fans pay for a ticket entitling us admittance to the NFL game and seat, nothing more than a few hours of entertainment.

Salute the nation

their defense was cheating just as much as the offense or coaching matters alot.
Found these on Twitter and thought they were pretty interesting:

-Playoff wins since 2001 with < 78.5 passer rating on 33+ attempts:

Tom Brady:

9-4 (69.2%)

Every other QB combined:

9-72 (11.1%)

Playoff W-L record when throwing more INT's than TD's since 2001 (min. 33 attempts):

Tom Brady:

6-4 (60.0%)

Every other QB combined:

4-51 (7.3%)

Playoff W-L record since 2001 with a passer rating < 86.5 on 25+ attempts:

Tom Brady:

11-6 (64.7%)

Every other QB combined:

39-112 (25.8%)

Career playoff W-L record with a passer rating < 78.5 on 25+ attempts:

Tom Brady:

10-4 (71.4%)

Every other QB in NFL history:

89-307 (22.5%)

This was Brady's fifth postseason game without a touchdown pass. The Patriots' record in those five games is 5-0.

I think it leads to a couple things

One, Brady throws INTs when they are the least damaging, that is, rarely in the Red Zone or Endzone. Take this year's SB, his first pass was picked, it had little to no effect on the game.
Two, Brady gets the offense into the goal to go situation and the Pats have no issues giving someone else the TD, Brady doesn't care if he gets stats (he has enough of them), but he does care about winning games.

Love him, hate him, respect him or think he cheats, he's the best QB in the history of the game and the past three years have pretty much put the argument to bed.
