Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's..........@ Jags.....

It was too early to go for it. Berry nets about 38 yards a punt, and I'd take the field position and get the ball back. Why give them the ball on our side of the field, with what over 5 minutes left? One mistake by the defense, and it would have been over.

Call this game for what it is. We came back to beat a team that lost four in a row thanks to Ben coming alive late.

Then you'd ***** when Berry boots it into the end zone for a touchback...

Game balls: to the steelers. Every last man. A living working definition of resiliency.

Goat: myself. I gave up on them. Glad they proved me wrong.

FUs: not talking about this because we were victorious, but if anyone can explain that clock management to me the last 3 minutes, I'd like to hear it.
Horrible decisions overcome.

Best game of Hargrave's career. He seemed in on more tackles than he got credit for, 2 sacks, and batted down a pass in the 4th qtr.
Quietly having a much improved year, I believe he has already matched his tackles from 2017 and has 6 sacks in 2018 to 2 in 2017.

Seemed to be much better in the second half, 179 yards for the game, 32 in the second half.

Romo made good observation about Dupree and Watt not running too far upfield in the second half. When they wanted to run in the second half, they couldn’t, so I think adjustments were made just fine. That was also a very fresh probowl runningback out there today. Tuitt being out was also a factor I’m sure.

They tightened it up for sure, so most logical fans would think they had already fixed it pretty well in-game. Didn't hurt that the refs started calling a couple holding penalties as well I'm sure. They were mugging guys out there.

You wanted to bench Ben? Yes or no? The rest of what I say stands. Homers and Ben haters to prop up Tomlin, be gone!

You are a ******* idiot. You have never ever heard me say **** about benching ben. The fact that he ****** up the first half is fact. Im not making any judgment no one else who watched that **** show could have made.

The idea that ANYTHING to do with coaching and not the **** show by the offense, ben included is ridiculous .

Ben made up for his **** play. He does that a lot of times. Sometimes he doesn't.

He admitted in the after game interview that he was a big reason they were behind. He wasn't the only on on the o ******* up, but even he knows he was part of it. What else do you need.

Exactly, he's got to be on the list. I put Ben in Quarters 1-3 on the Goats list, Ben in Quarter 4 on the Legends list LOL

Coaching was good and bad. I HATED the passing at the end, but thank God it worked. But I have to be fair, there were some obvious adjustments defensively for the second half that paid off. Well done.

Conner wasn't getting it done on the ground. The team goes as ben goes. You have to let him take it.

You say that like it’s an eternity. They had to score, get the ball back and score again. Going for it gave them the best chance of winning.

You mean looking at the final stats of 300+ yards and ignoring the 10.1 rating in the first half.

I mean a majority of the sh*t that he posts and the agenda(s) he tries to push. The skewing of stats. The overlooking of good play by those he's decided aren't playing well or were never going to play well. There's so much more. It's just sad.

Game ball to ben.
Had a bad first half. Stepped up and threw some beautiful passes to the receivers.
Game ball to the receivers.. WOW. watch the highlight video on youtube and you see the passes and catches,, just pretty. I love juju.

FU to miles jack the Spearing Machine.
Game ball to switzer.
Gave up a 3rd to get him. I can actually see his value, every game.

GOAT today, Conner. Sorry young man, you had a bad game in my opinion. Step it up and come back next week better.
Goat to Tomlin. Team wasn't ready to play today. Offense couldn't do a thing in the first half. Defense couldn't stop the run, even playing the 3 down linemen. BUT I guess Tuit wasn't here. But he sucks and doesn't have the integrity and smarts that Heyward has...

He's been doing it for years and it's never going to change. I'm sure you already know this, but for anybody who isn't totally familiar with Coach, he once said that at least Eddie Lacy didn't get injured so much when people were trying to tell him he was so dead wrong about Lacy over Bell in that draft. Lacy wasn't injured because he was sitting on the couch a lot.

Don’t forget his “claim to fame” that should be his permanent sig, “Polamalu’s head is too big”. To this day, he still won’t say he was a great player, or acknowledge he was a great pick.

I'm giving a game ball to Watt. 2 Sacks, 2 FFs, 1 TFLs. He's a freakin monster!

He's killed me in FF - 15 points from a defesnive player without a TD? FFS!

But I will happily take fantasy losses the rest of the year if the Steelers are winning.

Anyone know what happened to Chickiloo. There was a personal foul on the convert. Was he cheap shotted?

My game Observations:

- It's not a coincidence that we struggled in the run game when Hargrave wasn't on the field. Dan McCullers started and did literally nothing, he was constantly pushed out of the play. Part of the adjustments were putting #79 in there and boy was he a big difference. Kudos to him for closing gaps against the run and of course his huge sacks, a nice mix of power and technique

- Bud Dupree was constantly held and suffered of illegal use of hands, getting grabbed on the grid over and over. He almost had a sack in the first incomplete pass, the one that bounced of the receiver hand and was nearly caught by Haden. He was a tad late in Watt's frist sack too, pushing the lineman against Bortles. The guy is becoming an important presence against the pass every game.

- Regarding receivers: AB had a pass bounce off his chest, bad timing with Ben at the start of the game. McDonald, Conner, Juju all dropped passes. The one by Conner that was a sure TD was really painful to watch. Yet McD, AB and Juju all reinvindicated themselves with clutch catches. Great to see them keep their head up despite previous mistakes.

- Ben's run scoring TD was almost taken from the scrypt of Any Given Sunday, Ben you Rock!!!

Salute the Nation.
