Rumors on Bell

Pretty solid case made for Steelers not giving into Bell. Let him chase his fairy tale dollars somewhere else.

That is spot on

Each week that goes on, we need him less and less and his value is going down. We didn't even try to run and put up 37 just like the other teams mentioned. And, realistically, we put up those 37 in only 2 quarters, the 2nd and 4th.

Bell took a gamble on his "player status" thinking he could cash in but I'm afraid BELL's gamble is backfiring and his value will continue to plummet. SORRY LevMEon but not really sorry at all.

It’s funny that when the suits in the front office make decisions that are in the best interests of the organization financially, we’re reminded that, in the end, it is a business and everyone seems to be just fine with that..... but have a player do what’s in HIS best interests, what’s best for HIS bottom line, and he’s a greedy piece of **** me-first *******. This guy has a chance to
break the bank next year, but if he goes out this year and shreds his knee that could all be gone in an instant. I don’t blame him one bit. Remember something is worth whatever someone else is willing to pay for it.

Salary cap. Team doesn't have much of a choice in these matters. Greedy because he turned down almost double what the second-highest paid RB gets. It's just the going rate for RB's but he's too stupid to realize it.

Bells value is even less to this team considering how ****** the defense is. The last two home games the offense scored a truckload of points one with Bell in the playoffs and one without. Same result.

Former Pirates GM Branch Rickey to Ralph Kiner, circa 1952: "We finished last with you, we can finish last without you."

Le'Veon ---> :hat: <--- That's no cigar

You already know what? That he's the one holding out??
Bell was responding to the comment that he was the best running back. And that he was chilling out that is how he do it. You know because he is all that.

Best interest... he has allowed a ton of money to slip though his fingers, what exactly does it do for him sitting at home. It is obvious that winning is not even in the minds of the hold outs and disgruntled. One day Bell wants more money, next he does not want to play he will get hurt. What is his beef. Every team does this contract stuff, what he feels slighted when offered a more than fair deal. To much wasted energy even talking about Bell, yes I'm one of them.

So Brown wasn't there on Monday. Tomlin if he can needs to end this petty stuff. Or maybe the players just don't respect him.

If and when he reports I'm not letting him anywhere near the football. He's done here, he's said so himself all he cares about is self preservation. I'm not trusting that he will lower his head/shoulder to get a tough yard to win a game after that. Never mind you'd be ******** on the ones who are grinding out the season. He's gone folks, time to move on.

A. He's not the best RB ever as he and his boy are saying
B. Yes, he has put on some fat. He won't be anywhere near ready to play when he signs.

When Deebo was coaxed out of retirement a few years ago he said after each of the first four games he wanted to die. I would argue that a retired Deebo was likely still working out harder than Bell is at the strip club.

pay him, bench him and move on. if he shows up at any time, he's the #4 RB and inactive.

Steelers are going to have a considerable problem on their hands when he returns.

Maybe not for long. I say it's a 50/50 chance he gets hurt and goes on IR before he's played 3 games.

Training is part of Harrison's foundation in life. That's the way it should be. He just works out a little harder than most...haha

REMEMBER there is a clause in the "tag" that talks about being in shape so if he truly is in that bad of shape when he shows up, the STEELERS can contest it and have the weeks not count towards tag satisfaction. BELL took a big gambel and it's going backwards fast. I don't wish bad on him but his INACTION is causing a lot of the negatives happening to him & his cause.
