The Steelers do need a fresh perspective.
Staying traditional is cool and all.
But sometimes you just gotta grow with the trends.
Impedes beneficial change
Maybe Haley will move on, at Ben's insistence. But Butler will not be fired, the ownership carried that chump for years as the heir-apparent to LeBeau, they're convinced he's some kind of a prodigy. He'll always be the guy that didn't cover Gronk to me, and don't blame the players, at the very least he should've called a timeout (Tomlin too).
Fire Tomlin? Never. Its his job for as long as HE wants it, even if he puts together five 2-14 seasons.
I'll say it again: No team should have to score 32 points to beat Blake f'n Bortles. Coaching staff and defense made this happen.

How about we get a DC that has done something in this league? Also, I'm not a Tomlin hater, but this **** of making bad QBs look good has gone on before Butler, and Butler is supposed to be a pretty aggressive DC, but we aren't that aggressive, Tomlin has a big hand in our D

Yeah, I think it may be time for Porter to get on with his life's work too. Maybe he and Butler can find employment in Arizona.

Haley's contract is up. A good possibility he will not be back. Look for our QB coach to be promoted. Butler is still under contract. In the past the Rooney's do force the HC's hand in the firing of a coordinator. I just don't see it here with Butler. I always hoped they would go out side the organization for the DC hire, but the only reason they forced Dick out was that Butler was ready to move on after passing up on other DC jobs. Butler will be here for a while I am thinking.

Tomlin kept Dick and now Butler. How much of this is on the owners? You would think at this point in Tomlin's career he would have say in who he wants and doesn't. So if the Butler hire is his...then he has to be held accountable. Whether that is the Ronney's forcing his hand on firing Butler or him just giving Butler the axe. It should be done. We all know it won't though.
Haley shouldnt get a seat on the plane and they aint even flying home. Replace Butler with Del Rio. Tomlin is staying. I cant set my hopes that high.

If Mikey Sunglasses doesn't get cute with the 4th Down Calls then we win this game. If we had just kicked the field goal in the first quarter instead of turning the ball over on downs we win the game. Mikey Sunglasses needs to spontaneously combust and burn down to a pile of ashes with a pair of sunglasses on top.
He should have doubled Gronk and didn't. The D never had a consistent identity and that falls on Butler. If there is any coaching moves this off-season for the team. Butler is the one who needs to go.
Tomlin is into the D as much as Butler. Would love to see every coach fired. Just to put a scare into the players that this IS a team sport, not an individual.

I didn't like the on side kick either but it executed right it could have given us 2 chances of getting the ball back. Once on the on side kick and then second on holding them on downs. The horrible kick gave them the ball all but in FG range. Another issue I had with Tomlin though was when the Jags ran on 1st down and Tomlin let the clock run down to the 2 min warning from 2:09. That's 9 seconds he let run off.Just curious on the why when every second is needed.

Carnel Lake needs to take Artie Burns and both Ned to go. Butler needs to step away.

There is a reason that Haley and Butler have not been asked to be interviewed by others. The NFL knows they suck. I wish the Steelers would figure it out as well.

Regarding haley. they put up over 30. With a few good "Luck " passes.
But they also had two turnovers that resulted in 14 points. So idont blame haley near as much.

The 4th & long TD's only showcased the talent wasted by Tomlin & Haley.

The only time I saw him in the game was on Special Teams! Another waste of talent, was it in the game plan to eliminate the FB?
