You can’t keep Haley and Butler after this

Agreed. Haley is told tomorrow he will not be offered a new contract and Butler is told to get the **** out. The D is the main reason we lost this game. They couldn't stop one of the worst offenses and worst QB's in the league. An O that has done nothing for weeks. Today they put up an easy 28 on us and converted a TO into another easy TD for a total of 35 points. No excuse for that. The O still put up 35 and we lost. No turnovers and no splash plays on D, not one.
 
Well since they did manage to score 35 I tend to blame the defense more but I 100 percent agree I wont even consider them a favorite to win another Lombardi as long as Tomlin is at the helm...

For the last 6-8 years I just watch and wait for the let down to happen.
 
I agree the rot starts at the top. I think that the Steelers went 13-3 despite Tomlin and certainly not because of him.
 
I know they won’t fire Tomlin but there is absolutely no way Haley or Butler can stay. Yes the rot is from the top but those two are both incompetent

Tomlin coaching has ruined some good talent teams . If you want OC and DC gone Tomlin should hold the door and walk out behind them. This team has zero identity no physicality and no leaders.
 
Our D is pathetic. The way we call our D is pathetic. A team that used to dominate on D can't continue down this path where we are a finesse D. We are not aggressive on D and we never win with the Big Uglies on the line. We need a true NT again.

Coach T isn't going anywhere. Haley should have been sent packing about 8 weeks ago and there are too many holes on defense for Butler's mediocrity to cover. They have big holes at NT, ILB, OLB and S
 
Jax scored 20 points in their last two games combined. That's with games that mattered....today 45.
 
Haley should be fired tomorrow. Promote Munchak to OC +Assistant Head Coach....keep him til Ben retires.

Keith Butler should be fired immediately also.....HOW THE **** DO YOU LET BLAKE BORTLES TEAR YOU UP!

As for Tomlin I'm indifferent.....that onsides kick was ******* st00pid!
 
Our position coaches on D are not getting it done either. Sloppy technique all over and out of position a lot.
 
Yinz down on Haley but if it wasn't for the D players , D coaching, and two bad Tomlin calls the Steelers win. I'd fire Butler, and look for a FS and Ilber.

And 3 of those 13 wins were on last minute FG's.
Normally 42 points should win a game for you. Granted we gave them 14 points on turnovers but the D was simply awful.

You saw those points off of turnovers too? The way some are acting, I was wondering if I was having an acid flashback and they never happened.
And yeah, the defense is ****. Need a Safety to replace/upgrade Mitchell, another ILB with range and speed in case Shazey can't get back, another OLB to replace Dupree ... Hell, that's upgrades at all levels of the defense.
