One playoff spot left...Alabama or Ohio - What say ye???

If OSU would have made that game closer against Iowa or blown out Wisconsin, they would be in. That Iowa loss a few weeks ago was huge, especially after they came back to beat Penn State.

$$$ talks ESECPN. Proves that resume doesn't matter only losses. The B1G should only schedule ****** OOC games and a lot of FCS teams. WOW just WOW 2 ******* SEC teams. NO ******* way. I'll be pulling for OKLAHOMA to win it all. Hopefully its a Oklahoma Clemson title game.

All of the bowl projections I looked at this morning had OSU in the playoff. I think it's kinda funny they didn't make it.

This might be the impetus to expand to eight teams, but most of the talking heads I listened to this morning had Alabama making it, so maybe it's not such a big controversy.

Haters gon hate...

They didn't take the 4 best teams in 2015. That helped Bama big time that year, MSU was not one of the 4 best teams. So............ yeah I can hate if I want to. :givebeer:

your hate for all things OSU is delicious to me

Not really... Ohio State, and Alabama really, are just examples of a bigger problem with college football. Im not a fan of it at all... its crap held together by school loyalty... its corruption has gotten out of control... every star player is bought.. the system is beyond stacked for about half a dozen teams, and its obvious.... i often hear people talk about how its better football than the pros... it isn't... it hasn't been for two decades or more.. its basically a bunch of gimmik offenses that rely on the fact that every team has a bunch of subpar scrubs dotted throughout their defense... hostorically i favor the NFL starting a minor league to strip college of tge best talent, develop those players right, and make reigning in the college corruption much easier...

Alabama better team but really USF should get a spot and myself I feel would lead for a better playoff scene. You go undefeated you deserve better than any team that has lost two games.

The NFL has had conversations the past few seasons about a minor league system because college offenses and defenses have not run or developed pro style ready players for decades now... they have always supported college because it was a free minor league for them... its no longer the case, and european development leagues have not proven themselves useful, so eventually they are going to bite the bullet and make one... then College football can go back to actual student athletes not booster bought mercenaries...

To be fair, most of the B1G losses are against each other; Wisconsin dropped to OSU; Penn State dropped to OSU and Michigan State; OSU dropped to Iowa and Oklahoma. The only non conference loss in the group is Oklahoma.

Picking Bama is a joke. They have ZERO quality wins. And their loss is to 3 loss Auburn who has been propped up to help justify the sham. Auburn is ahead of 2 loss Pac 12 Champ USC. What a joke.

This committee has now proven they are a sham. The whole point was to get a group of impartial people to look at all the data, apply objective stats along with some subjective opinion to break ties. It is now clear that there is no criteria other than they are picking the 4 teams they want based on their own biases and the results on the field barely matter.

I said when bama lost that they would still make it.

The committee threw any appearance of impartiality out the window last year when the left out conference champ Penn State. Now it's just a clusterfuck dressed up as something official.

May as well just go back to the AP poll

I think Alabama is a better team than OSU. So in that regard I think they picked the right team. The whole thing is ****** up though.

The committee basically said they had Ala ranked higher than OSU all year and i guess bama didn't do enough to lose that spot. OSU had a bad loss, but also has 2 top 10 wins along with beating michigan st and Michigan. No matter what they need a new system or more teams in the playoff

Do any of you really think OSU is better than Alabama? Really? The Big 10 was not good, period. And I'm not an Alabama or SEC fan.
