Fire Tomlin, hire Saban

Saban is a great recruiter. He loses when he encounters another team with equal talent. Fortunately for him, that's not very often.

Jim harbaugh is overrated. He had Andrew Luck at Stanford and didn't win the Pac 12. He then inherited a very good 49ers team. That team was all defense and OL and run game. He then benefitted from the short period where the read option worked in the NFL and Kap had a good season. Next year the NFL caught on and the 49ers were done. Harbaugh jumped ship.

He then inherited a loaded Michigan team that just had nearly it's entire defense drafted last year. He managed to lose 2 games. He just lost again to Michigan State last night and they have half the talent.

I'll pass on Harbaugh. Why would i want a guy who will install an offense from 1985?

Noll was successful;l from the get go ? Which one of his firsy 3 years would you say was successful, 1-13, 5-0 or 6-8 ?

How many years had the Steelers been losers before Noll came along?

Now compare those DECADES of losing to Noll being in the playoffs by his fourth season then turning out 9 consecutive winning seasons including 4 super bowls........yeah right from the get go.

When Ben retires, I would be OK for a coaching cleansing. This team is quite talented, but seems to be in quicksand. There's a lot of football left to play and will be interesting how the rest plays out, but five games in, they don't look like the disciplined, prolific, high-powered offense and run-stuffing defense they should be. They may need new eyes and philosophy.

At this point in time I'm sick of seeing the same **** every year. Bunch of talk,no game plan or a game plan that has no room for adapting when **** isn't working. Losing to **** teams. Not going back to the fundamentals of tackling in camp. They suck at it. The Steelers used to be known for defense, hard hitting with relentless drive. Now they're soft as a butter cup.

The team looks like unorganized ****

The CBA determines quantity of pad practices. I hear you on fundamentals and I don't want someone saying look at other team....... OTHER TEAMS seem to be doing a hell of a lot better at tackling than we are. IT"S coaching plain and simple. S lackluster, be my friend, clueless, adjustment less type coach is what we have and YES we need a different approach weather Ben is hear or not. For years we've talked about wasting what years BEN has left, well up till and including now we have been wasting with the same "coaching" problems al;l along.

When they promoted Butler I said they needed to bring in OUTSIDE the organization DC. Now I'm all for this, right NOW change OC and try to muscle this season through. Off season try new DC and head coach. See where this gets us.

Oh and no way in haedes do you bring in either Saban / Hairball / or spurrier.!!!!!!!!

Harbaugh's teams play to the maximum of their talent. He took a team QB'ed by Colin freaking Kaepernick to the SB, for Chrissakes. He coached a Stanford team to a 12-1 record and an Orange Bowl win. Stanford is not USC or Alabama - they actually have entrance requirements.

His record at Stanford show a coach who improves his team, every year. 4 W's to 5 W's to 8 W's to 12 W's. "Oh, he had Andrew Luck"? Yeah, Tomlin has had Roethlisberger for 10 years and manages to lose to **** teams with regularity that would make ExLax jealous.

His career record in the NFL? 44-19. Playoffs? 5-3. Both winning percentages are better than Tomlin, by-the-by. With no QB remotely close to Roethlisberger. Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick? Yeah, and he goes 13-3, 11-4-1 and 12-4. He wins 36 games in 3 seasons with Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick at QB, and no offensive players as good at Bell ... or Brown ... or Roethlisberger.

If Tomlin had those teams, hello 8-8 or 9-7.

He coached Stanford with Andrew Luck and they had a great OL. Those are the positions that tend to have the smartest players and that's why stanford does well. That's why David Shaw has continued to do well there.

The 49ers fell apart quickly after the league caught on to the read option and Kap had to be a real QB.

Harbaugh inherited a great situation each stop of his career and he hasn't stayed long enough at any place to really see how good he is.

And all that summed up. I don't think he'll be great at Michigan.
Probably top 25 at best. But I do not see him competing with Alabama anytime soon

I really don't think there's anyone to replace Haley atm.
That's something in the Steelers handle of everything will need an entire offseason to search.

The team lacks discipline as a whole.
Ben lacks fire and passion. It's been evident this season. I think the guy is just going through the motions. Too much locker room drama.
I don't blame him.

It's still early in the season. Maybe the team gets their mojo back.
But it's cringey as hell to watch

Haley can be replaced short term. Move internally someone up and open up BEN. Receivers coach can prepare game plan and input game day with our feild General tweeking / calling along the way. They each steer each other. I see Rothlesberger's body language and you can tell when Haley is sending in a **** play. Give Ben a little more freedom and a different preperation routine than what Haley is doing, could go a long way to bringing back the Freire.

Either Haley goes or Ben goes. They both won’t be with the team next year.
