Would it, could it ever happen.?

hahahahah

um

no

We wouldn't lose to the bottom teams like we do.

Steelers ownership is caught up in their own "stability" mythology. They think that because this is the way they've done things in their recent history they can't or shouldn't change.

Before Chuck Noll they fired head coaches every 2 to 3 years, look it up. The only reason Noll stayed is because he was successful from the get go.
.
In Tomlin's case he was successful with a championship team laid at his feet. Now he has proven to be a barely decent coach with his own team, should he stay? It depends on what the "standard" REALLY IS.

What say you Mr. Rooney? Like we don't know the answer.................

many wouldn't be against a change, but I think there is better options out there.

At this point in time I'm sick of seeing the same **** every year. Bunch of talk,no game plan or a game plan that has no room for adapting when **** isn't working. Losing to **** teams. Not going back to the fundamentals of tackling in camp. They suck at it. The Steelers used to be known for defense, hard hitting with relentless drive. Now they're soft as a butter cup.

The team looks like unorganized ****

The truth.

And the painful truth at that

Watching today's game was very cringey.
It was an awkward game

I want Tomlin gone, but no to Saban

It will never happen but I'd take the swap. Saban is super organized. And there is s good chance he's a Steeler fan

Yes on the first part ,no on Saban He’s 65 and won’t come back to NFL
I’ll take 52 year old Jim Harbaugh if they can throw some money at him

They will not can Tomlin right after signing him to a extension.

Would be a better chance of him being allowed to leave at the end of his contract.

But I think for me I would rather promote a NFL assistant than bring in a college coach.

They are already acclimated with the NFL. Plus a handful is itching I am sure for a HC opportunity.

He’s a college coach now but he did get Alex Smith to a Championship game and Kaeperdick to the Super Bowl,we need an offensive coach in this QB driven league

**** no.

Saban for Haley, I'm listening...

No thanks.... not impressed with Alabama's offense. They win by defense and power running. Although with our talent hopefully he could come up with something. I would try anyone or anything at this point. We need an X and O's coach

Oh, you said Saban, not Satan - no thanks.

MT is not and never has been a “coach”. He is a cheerleader and pontificator. Not a coach. He does not get the best out of players. He plays the best out of them. He recognizes talent and listen to his coaches. He then wears them out. Lebeau, Arians, Haley, and Butler are coaches. Good or bad, they do coach. MT rides their backs and then bloviates to the press about what was good or bad. However, Saban is a douche nozzle and I’d rather have our loquacious cool shades over that dick.

Saban absolutely SUCKED as an NFL coach. He went from 7-9 to 6-10 in Miami before bailing on them to go back to college where he CAN recruit and have the best players in the country and still not win every year.

No, IMO, this team needs more discipline and more practice w the 1st team together running a game plan designed to attack the weaknesses of the opponent RATHER than their strengths.

Ben wanted the keys to the car and they gave it to him in the second half...he crashed. He hates Haley and will retire after this season UNLESS he is replaced. As I've said before, can Haley for Fichtner NOW. He likes Fichtner, and Fichtner has a very good resume in scoring points with his schemes. Ben would be more energized, maybe stay til the end of his contract too.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere BUT they need to have a "banger" in there backfield that they don't have w Bell. He dances because everyone is so enamored w his patience but sometimes you must run vertically in order to get the yards before the backfield catches up to the play. I would have loved to see Watson in there spelling Bell. Bell is and SHOULD be used to his strengths, which is as an all-purpose back (runs, pass protect w slip screens, designed play-action passes etc. They haven't been using him in this way.

On D, everyone should be on notice that we DON'T celebrate the OTHER teams first downs! We celebrate when we stop them on 3rd down...period! Mitchell is a clown. SHazier is playing out of control and Williams doesn't have the ability Timmons had to get off blocks. We keep waiting for Dupree to be half the OLB that Harrison is while he is wasting away on the bench. WHo gives a rats *** IF he doesn't play ST...like we are going to be a top 10 ST with a different OLB playing on ST? Ben is a bit of a DIva like most top NFL QBs and he will play better when he is allowed to play his way.

Cut the VEt day off w Ben on Wednesday's UNTIL he gets some reps with anyone NOT named AB. He has always been a guy to have a favorite WR but in the past he had Heath who was also his room-mate to go to as a back-up. I would room him w MacDonald until they get something going and make him practice w the other receivers more. Right now, AB is the only one he trusts BUT after watching him throw into triple coverage a few times I wonder if HALEY isn't the guy who can tell him what he needs to do to fix the problem. He has ZERO respect for him. He needs someone who he will actually listen to and Haley ain't it!
