The hit on Davante Adams in the Bears/Packers game

I don't think Ryan was trying to go for a kills hot like the hit last night. He was trying to hit him and hard. Two different plays as Kiser was running and then slid. This was and looked so much worse. Yikes. He was held up and then pulverized.

shazier speared a sliding qb. lol,, just as bad if not worse..

No he didn't. He was already going to make the hit on the QB when the QB then decided to make a late slide. You can't stop when you are in mid-air. In this case, the dude was stood up, forward progress was stopped and then the dude went at his head with his own helmet and he launched himself. If you can't see the difference, you may need to get your eyes checked.

Bullshit, that qb wasn't sliding till Shazier was already damn near up his ***. How the **** you're supposed to change the laws of physics because a qb gets a case of the oh ***** at the last second is beyond my comprehension.

Joe

Yes I would . Vontez has proven many times to be a piece of ****.
I agree, but you've just admitted that the contact itself warrants fine or suspension if you believe that "had Vontaze done it" it would have been interpreted as "dirty".

See what I mean there? What Travathon did was out of line and frankly just as bad if not worse than what Burfict did to Brown in the playoffs a couple years ago.

I didn't say shazier was dirty. Im saying the result is the same. Im getting at the point that intent his hard to prove or disprove. I think punishments should fit the crime. Helmet to helmet, is helmet to helmet. Lead with head is lead with head.

Im saying the repetitive nature of infractions by vontaze makes his **** more egregious.

yeah he did!

more importantly in this game did u see the Packers open it up in all the 4 and 5 WIDE! formations?

No wonder they won going away....

What does that have to do with run defense?

Clearly Burfict is a repeat offender and therefore he should face greater and greater consequences if not flat out life-time suspension before he kills or maims somebody, but the question is regarding intent, and I fully believe Travathon demonstrated intent. It may be his first major infraction, but it's an infraction regardless.

No, not all hits are the same. If a player is moving and not already engaged with a tackler, it's not the same as the hit on Freeman or a QB in the pocket.

Just saw a 2 game suspension. With the new rules this year, that was the minimum Rog could have gotten away with handing out here.

Just saw that hit. It was like a 2 out of 10 when it comes to dirty hits. I don't think he deserved a fine let alone a suspension. Thus why I enjoyed Friday night high school football and Saturday afternoon college football and will be enjoying the hot tub this afternoon

If he doesn't drop the crown of his head into the guys facemask I don't think it's even a penalty, let alone a fine or suspension. The guy was still in play.
