This post sums up the current climate perfectly. A right leaning opinion is dismissed as biased crap and the person who said it is told to shut up. Then a left leaning opinion is stated as fact.

Players protest anthem - don't you dare question these brave patriots. Freedom of speech! Freedom of speech!
Trump states his opinion - shut the **** up! You are being divisive!
 
Your an employee on the clock , has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Protest on your on time. Now that a dialogue has been started. Show respect for the flag and stand from now on. Go out into your communities and use your fame and fortune to really make a difference. Ride along with cops in those tough neighborhoods. Teach young black men to respect one another and value each others lives and stop killing one another. Reach out to the POTUS , sit down with him and try to find common ground , forget about the media crap. The guy has worked for the community before and with them. He isn't a racist and didn't become one overnight. The guy has won awards for his work with the inner city communities.

Just my opinions on how to move forward. If things don't change this will not end well for the NFL.You pissed off the majority of the people who pay your bills.

Way too much effort. Rather just stand in the national spotlight and talk a good game.

I'd gather thats damn near the national average for all teams. So is this bullshit done now? What are we getting this week? A **** show or football? If it's a **** show I'll be done with it as will most of the country. I think everyone should stay home this weekend and empty out the stadiums.
 
I didn’t realize Tomlin and all the coaches were on the field for the National Anthem. Of course you won’t hear that in the media.

makes me ill to see people not stand for the flag, being I served in the military

makes me ill people coming up with excuses to let their political agendas influence the game I love to watch

By your standards I guess if you get up and go to the bathroom or get a beer when the anthem is playing then you are disrespectful to .. Which MANY people do at the stadium and in their homes -- wonder if all the people working at the concession stands or standing in line to get their beer are also DISRESPECTING the flag

the anthem plays every game it is a known

Please explain how protesting the anthem is "inclusive" as we are being told.
 
Whatever -- you are not listening to what people are saying you have your opinion and I do not agree -- so lets leave it at that ..
 
 
Not coming out of the ******* tunnel when you come out every single time and have done so for many many years is clearly disrespectful. They can't spin that **** into a positive. It's not going to fly. Are they done? Are we done? If this is going to turn political each week be prepared for the consequences of your actions NFL.
