Steelers in round two pick WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

We did not score enough points. Hell we were lucky in KC to win by only scoring 9 points.

The pick of JJSS as TMC stated makes a lot of sense. What if Bryant screws up again? We can't be in the same position as last year.

Martavius mouthing off again on Twitter about Coates might lose his job. Then Dupree essentially told him to STFU. Then I said something on Pittsburgh 24/7 Sports Facebook page that Martavius should wait until he plays a whole season to talk smack.

I'm looking forward to watching him play. I'd rather see him in black and gold than have him in purple.

Still waiting on a response regarding Coach's playing/coaching acumen.

what for? will it really change your opinion of his football knowledge?

No. Coach is entitled to his opinion just everyone else. However, the incessant argumentative retorts about what others opine, or the Front Office of the Steelers decides jumbles the dialogue of the majority of us laymen. If he wishes to comment how his understanding of player evaluation, position execution is superior to others, tell us why we should keep listening. Other than he being another fan of football with layman understanding of the intricacies of the business, he has nothing more than an opinion that he traditionally argues is better than everyone else. TMC has published works regarding player evaluation, so he has a much better understanding the workings of that discipline. Del has done some great observations. Others may have too, but in a performer role. I'd take their opinions with more sustenance than any opinion of the layman majority. Just would like to know why he feels he knows more than the rest of us.

Will JuJu help? Or will he be on the inactive list, like Ayers was, in favor of a one-handed Sammy Coates?

Well.....Ayers was injured.

Not only did they pass on Juju, they passed on Godwin in the third.

and they did that Twice, to pick Wormley and then Tim Williams when they had already picked Bowser.

I dont recall him being injured? I thought he was held out b/c he didn't fit the game plan.

nope he was injured early which set him back in his development

all the stories before and just after the game called Ayers a "health scratch"....a few weeks later though he had hernia surgery. that was the first time there was any report of any injury since his high and low ankle sprain during training camp.

Its BS, a cover story as the other WR's didn't do a good enough job, while Ayers was on the bench as a " healthy scratch ".

If he had a hernia issue, he wasn't healthy.

He did play against KC the week before....

no **** sherlock......

I want some punt returning out of AYERS. Yes the reciever thing will work out but if he can secure PR duties, he is a lock for the roster. In doing that his receiving touches will expand.

Salute the nation

Sutton is a very good returner too, check out some of those on youtube

Didn't Ayers just get released?
