Chris Johnson is dethroned as fastest ever at the combine. Washington WR John Ross just ran an official 4.22 and he was cramping up while doing it.

I'm officially pounding the table to draft Penn State WR Chris Godwin in Rd 2. He measured in at 6'1 209 so he's physical. He did 19 reps on the bench, so he's strong. He ran 4.42 in the 40, so he has the speed as well. He also has filem where he makes more contested catches in 1 game than most college WRs make in a career.

Godwin is a Delaware kid from down my way. I'm glad he's getting some love and had a good combine. Hope he does well in the pros.

I am also pounding the table to draft Godwin. Whether his QB was Hackenberg or McSorley, he was productive, physical, got open regularly, and made spectacular catches outplaying defenders on the ball almost every time. Please get him here

I've picked him quite often in the mock drafts. I'd love to land him but not sure they will go WR in round 1 or 2. They must get an EDGE player in round 1 or 2. If they pick up a FA corner, then WR or TE would be viable in the 2nd round.

yeah, Godwin looks excellent, would love to see him in black and gold.

Good thing Al Davis is dead...Ross would be a Raider for certain. LOL

10 Te's ran under 4.7 and the group average was under 4.7. Engram was 4.42 that puts him 4 in WR's.

Howard will not get to us 4.51 at 250lb. His shoulders are massive.

I was hoping for Goodwin in the 3rd but he won't be there

Guys I am interested in that didn't blow up the combine.

TE- Adam Shaheen Ashland
Watching his college tape is like watching madden after you create a player. He definitely was always the best player on the field. But what you can see from tape that is useful is he tracks the ball well, has soft hands and is a natural hand catcher, high points the ball very well, and understands body position. He is a very good athlete but looks soft. I feel an NFL trainer, nutritionist, and regimen would do his physique wonders.

OT- Conor McDermot UCLA
Understanding the zone blocking scheme I feel McDermot fits the molds as an intelligent, long, and finesse blocker. His footwork can get sloppy but I feel he has the athleticism just needs more refinement.

RB- Kareem Hunt Toledo
Been touting him since last year. Zone blocking RB who is elusive with decent hands. Has quick feet and wasn't sure of top end speed but Bell ran in the 4.6 range also. His game doesn't remind me that much of Bell but more of D. Will.

WR- Isaiah Ford VT
Looking at his combine numbers you wouldn't think much of him. 6-1, 194, shorter arms, smallish hands. Watch the film and he's a baller. Adjusts to the ball, high points, boxes out DBs, glue hands.

TJ Watt. Good first day at the combine

If the Steelers want to pick an edge rusher in round one, they will likely get the 4th or 5th edge player in round one.

The Steelers meet with Watt at the combine.

Enter TJ Watt. A 4.69 is a good time for a guy his size, and Watt jumped out of the gym. You'd have to assume his character and work ethic is excellent.

Results below:

Bench press (reps of 225 lbs): 21 reps (T-8th among LBs)

40-yard dash: 4.69 seconds (12th among LBs)

Vertical jump: 37 inches (T-2nd among LBs)

Broad jump: 128 inches (T-1st among LBs)

3-cone drill: Sunday

20-yard shuttle: Sunday

60-yard shuttle: Sunda

did tie for 8th best among LBs
vertical was the best
broad jump was second best
40 time was 5th best

Myles Garrett has one of the highest KEI's for a draft prospect in a long time.

33 reps, 41" verts, 10'8" broad = 84.66 KEI

That is crazy. Right there with Mario Williams (35 reps, 40.5" vert and 10' broad).

Thanks for sharing

any way you can make a list of KEI's from the potential pass rushers that the Steelers have shown some interest?
