George Kittle TE Iowa 6'3 247
40 - 4.52
bench - 18 reps
Vert 35
Broad 11'0

Could be a good later round receiving TE. Tested out very similarly to OJ Howard. The fact the steelers signed Green shows that they want to have a pure receiving TE in this offense, so a guy like Kittle could make sense.

Numbers like that I doubt he is a later round pick. I watched him some today looks like a player.

The nearest Steelers bar.
Myles Garrett has one of the highest KEI's for a draft prospect in a long time.

33 reps, 41" verts, 10'8" broad = 84.66 KEI

That is crazy. Right there with Mario Williams (35 reps, 40.5" vert and 10' broad).

That sucks. I very much wish he had done 22 reps. with a 36 vertical, and the freaking Browns had passed on him.

His combine showing means that Villanueva will be blocking him for the next 4 seasons.

21 reps is the only thing i dont like. Hope we can get him in the 2nd round

21 reps on the bench is not weak for his position

you are correct though Rivers (30) or Lawson (35) bench were impressive. Though Bowser and Rivers show more athleticism than Lawson

This 6'4" DB from UConn is a freak.

Obi Melifonwu vertical 44"
broad jump 11'9
4,46 and 4,4 40s.
17 reps...but his arms are stupid long.

That's a KEI of 73 for a Safety

The best news is that this combine seems to be backing up the fact that the steelers main positions of need, Edge Rusher, CB and S, receiving TE and WR, are deep in this draft. Even QB is deep. Deep if you are looking for a developmental prospect. You may be screwed if you are looking for an immediate starter, but there are plenty of good late round development QB prospects.

Unlike others years we should have a good pick picking this late. Trading back could be a option too. Acquire more picks in a deep draft

Me thinks the name Jarvis Jones should be stricken from every obelisk.

I see Jalen Myrick ran a 4.28. He reminds me of a Brice McCain type CB. I had him in the 7th on my mock. Doubt he last until the 4th now.

Sydney Jones (cb) had a nice time, add 10 lbs to his frame and I'd take him at #30. Can trade up for pass rusher in rd 2.

His film is pretty bad.

He's built like a track athlete. Bowlegged and huge thighs. Not sure he's a football player first and foremost and his technique and hips are very poor for a CB, even after 3 years of experience as a starter. Not so say someone won't overdraft him and think he can immediately help on kick off returns while their coaches "coach him up", but I sort of think he's fools gold.

Obi Melifonwu is getting all the love, but that junior from N.C. State might be just as much a freak and is quietly flying under the radar (Josh Johnson I think?)

When these guys only put up 22 reps it's not the end of the world. Some of these LB or DEs have super long arms and that's not easy to throw up 225 with long arms.

Mayock has this as the deepest draft for edge rushers and DR'S in a long time. Gotta be able to hit two.
