So you're cool with averaging one playoff win every other year over the last six seasons, topped off with an embarrassing loss to the Patriots, a game in which Tomlin has been almost universally condemned for being out-coached, even by some of his own players. OK.
I'm sorry. It's tough for some of us to get overly fired up about:
a) a last-minute wild card win over the Bengals, who were starting AJ McCarron and have still not won a playoff game since 1990, or
b) a wild card win over the Dolphins, who were 12-point underdogs, started Matt Moore, and have not won a playoff game since the turn of the century, or
c) a second round win over the Chiefs, led by Alex Smith, who have won one playoff game since 1993.
Winter is coming. Especially if/when Ben hangs them up.
