A very good football team was under estimated all year long. They had ups and downs. They lost. People wrote them off and claimed their stars had lost a step.

But then they got healthy. Started to get hot at the right time. Playmakers not only returned to the lineup, but they made plays.

And still, the pundits said it didn't matter. They were facing an unbeatable opponent. A juggernaut that couldn't lose.

Story sound familiar? Clemson is the Steelers. Underestimated ALL YEAR LONG, and told they couldn't beat that one team.

Championship Game Notes:

Watson earned himself the NFL's booby prize - a first overall pick to Cleveland. So much for his career.

Ben Boulware would be a worthy replacement for Timmons. Not considered a 1st round talent, he made plays all over the field. We could catch him in round 2 or even 3 if teams sleep on him.

Jalen Hurts can't be blamed for this loss, but it will happen. When it was his turn to step up and make a play to win, he did. But he never touched the ball after he scored.

Alabama's D, while stout all game, folded in the end. Mental errors, panic, and plain old fashioned fatigue got them in the end.

Miami Notes:

Ben wanted in. Rogers stayed in late too. All the Tomlin hate is silly, we won the damn game.

KC can't play from behind. We get up on them and it's a wrap. They're built to run the ball and rush the passer.

Joey may never coach again, huge black eye for the franchise. IF, that is IF, he's guilty. This whole case could be BS. But if it's not, he's gotta go.

We are healthy, we've got the book on KC, and their home field advantage amounts to some noise. We can handle noise.

Everyone thinks NE will beat us. Literally, everyone. But you know what? They said the same thing about Clemson.

GO STEELERS!

Ben Boulware is a local kid, he played high school ball about 10 minutes from my house. He is a classic over-achiever , the kid just plays all out every play from beginning to end. He will make some NFL team very happy one day. He has the stuff that they can't measure at the combine.

Ben Boulware = Zach Thomas

One game at a time. Not even thinking about NE, have to beat the Chiefs to have a chance.

I get you, but like DeCastro said about Miami, beating KC earns us nothing. We want a place in history, beating NE is where it's at.

So far so good for Revenge Bowl. Clemson got even, so can we. NE had a bye and Green Bay advanced.

Thought you weren't ever coming back? :blah:

The problem is: I live in CA. There isn't really anyone else to talk about Steelers business with out here.

So I'll just stick to the football side. Back in the Steeler Watch/TSN Board days that's what I came here for.

And you're still holding out on who that chick in your avatar is. Inquiring minds want to know...

Hell.. if 2005 Steelers, why not us?

they are about as healthy as you can expect.

On the road is a concern, but this team is very capable of anything............

Is Ben Boulware Peter's son?

He looks a little Irish to be Peter's son, but stranger things HAVE happened. Genetics can be funny that way. Kiko Alonso is Cuban/Colombian. Don't look it at all, though...

I'm in that boat of ONE GAME AT A TIME. The Steelers will play whomever is in front of them. If the CHEATRIOTS make it, then we will beat their ******* cheating ***** into their own turf. It will be Joey's first game back as a coach.
The cheif's game is going to be a challenge but like someone said, they can't play catch up very well. Even if we can't jump on a lead right off the bat, our boys are very resilient and will eventually get that lead and win to boot. I'm a little concerned about our fans knowing to be quiet when we are on offense. I think Antonio and Mr. Ayers both have ICE skating experience so we should be good on that front.

I thought this was gonna be a Pitt Panthers hype thread. Kinda followed them around a bit this season and did see them beat Clemson. On to subject-- I can see the Steelers winning their 7th. This is the year our boys get over the Pats as well

Everyone's picking KC against us, even though we're favorites. I keep hearing all this "the Steelers are good but not great" bullshit. Inside the NFL talked about us for 30 seconds.

The media hates the Steelers. They hate us. And it makes me want the Bs to ram the ball right up their Brady loving *****.

me and my black brother don't look alike, this is a example of stranger things happened. I don't consider him a half brother like some people do.

Never can look at a persons skin and appearance and know if they are related.

Although we are both tall 6'6 VS 6'7

Slash, you are so right. Skin color is only on the outside. I could care less the color but more about how one treats and act towards people. As for relation goes, you can pick your friends but you can't pick relation...............(although I pick some relation as friends) .......... LoL
