Wow Pitt!!!

Congrats Pitt, Played hard. The officiating should be under investigation, and get a game ball.

Not sure correct place to put this, but after watching so many games yesterday my eyes are crossed , we will get to see just how screwed up this so call un bias committee really are. Thy are going to have a hard time explaining who they have in the top four after Alabama. This so call eye test will blow up in their faces on who they choose to be in top four and how the move teams in the standings. Will show how bogus this loving certain conferences and certain teams really is. Tuesday will be a hoot.

Pitt's defense is awful, but they came up with three big turnovers and a big stop at the end of the game. Love to see Blewitt struggle and then bounce back for the game winner.

I think you could put 3 of the top 4 teams together and still maybe be an underdog to Alabama. But since so many on this Board believe it all resolves around coaching it must mean 3 of the 4 teams were totally unprepared.

If Michigan loses again and Penn state wins out the big ten will have two 2loss teams in the big ten championship. That will bode ill for the whole conference getting a playoff spot over other teams with one loss. They really dont play anyone to close out the season and help them in the rankings....

If Michigan loses to Ohio State, that would set up 2 loss PSU vs 2 loss WIsc or Nebraska, but it would also leave 1 loss Ohio State who would almost certainly get in the playoff. Ohio State would have wins over Oklahoma and Michigan and their only loss to Penn State would be a "good" loss because if Penn State wins out they could end up around 6 in the playoff ranking.

Since you asked, I think PSU would have scored 50 with Hack. People think Hack is some immobile pocket passer but he's actually faster than McSorley. The offensive design last year was pro style. Hack is no Vick but neither is McSorley. Just look at how much faster the backup Steven is when he gets a few reps.

The PSU offense struggled today because McSorley has a chicken arm. Indiana simply stacked against the run and dared PSU to throw deep. McSorley's deep passes flutter and become 50/50 balls that the WR has to win. A QB with an arm like Hack would have shredded that gameplan.

There is a reason why Ohio State finally broke through and beat Bama with Cardale Jones at QB. It was because the defense had to defend the entire field. Hack is no great runner but neither was Cardale. In this offense, Hack would have enough athleticism to be effective in the fakes. Carson Wentz used read option at ND State and he uses it with the Eagles some too. The QB doesn't have to be a great runner for it to be effective.

I get it, you hate Hack, but there's a reason why he was drafted in Rd 2. Penn State's scheme and lack of OL play made it a no win situation for the QB. This year's scheme, coupled with new OL coach Matt Limegrover has made the QB's job much easier.

Wow. Just wow. Laughing out loud. The Tomlin apologists on this board are even blushing for you. Hack is "actually" FASTER than McSorley? Bullshit, man. McSorley runs a 4.5 forty. Your boy ran a 4.78 at the combine.

The offensive line was in shambles on Saturday. They couldn't pass protect OR run block. That's where Trace's mobility saved their ***. You've obviously permanently erased last year's Temple debacle (during which they sacked Hackenberg TEN TIMES) from your selective memory.

I get it...you love you some Hack. It's everybody else's fault that he only won a mediocre 7 games a season for three years straight. The scheme, the line, the coach(es), blah, blah, ******* blah. There's a reason he's still the Jets FOURTH STRING QUARTERBACK, when other rookie quarterbacks all over the NFL are seeing significant playing time.

For some reason it's killing you that McSorley is succeeding and proving that your idol was a fraud. Whatever. The new kid is a winner, a leader, and a breath of fresh air. Me? I'll just be content to be happy for him...and more importantly, #8 Penn State.

I think McSorley is place holder this year. I think Tommy Stevens will beat him out next year. He's bigger, faster, and has a better arm. That is not to minimize what Trace has done. He has been great this year for sure.

I think you're underestimating the value of McSorley's leadership qualities, but we will see. Competition is healthy. I'm just glad to see PSU relevant again, and I'm enjoying the ride. No offense to the fine people at the TaxSlayer Bowl, of course.

Michigan State has obviously been playing much better of late, so it should be a close game this week.

I like Stevens too. Mcsorley is quick, but Stevens can run like a damn deer. I think he will throw a better deep ball too. But Mcsorley has "it" though....Should be interesting next year.

This should be an incredible weekend with the OSU UM game being played before the PSU UM game. If OSU wins the Beav will be deafening.

Originally I thought UM would roll OSU but with what has transpired the last few weeks and UM losing their QB I think OSU has a good chance of beating them.
