That's what happened last year.

Yes & No, pending on which Laundry Jones shows up.

Salute the nation

Not if they go out and establish the running game and force teams to bring a safety into the box

If we stop pretending like Le'Veon Bell is just another RB, and actually feed him the damn ball, then AB has a chance

Yes.

And honestly hasn't he been "just another WR" this year so far anyway?

I mean very good....... but we're not supposed to have a very good WR, we're supposed to have hands down the best receiver in football.

So no, I don't see an already not optimal situation becoming better with Landry in.

Do you believe we are going to establish any kind of running game when the defense can stack the box and dare LJ to beat them throwing?

We're going to run the ball a lot more. Brown just needs to channel his inner diva and block more. He will get his shots. It's all about winning . Whatever it takes.

Good luck with that, seems I have heard this story before and it wasn't even a contract year...LOL

Antonio Brown tells Mike Vick to 'trust me,' says 'I do need the ball'

After the Steelers lost Ben Roethlisberger to injury, Antonio Brown's production has dropped. He wants that to change.

AB has never caught a touchdown pass from anyone other than Ben.
(heard on nfl.com)

Landry Jones is the only player in the NFL capable of shutting down AB...

Brown has been very quiet the last few games this year. I'm quite sure he's frustrated and I'm pretty certain Ben was trying particularly hard to force the ball his way a couple times in Miami.

AB hasn't exactly blown it up the last three games with Ben. I believe the passing game in general takes a HUGE hit and if we can muster 150 yards and a TD we will be lucky. I see a heavy dose of Bell and DWill and trickle in a few passes to keep the defense honest.

It will be an interesting game.

I'm predicting a HUGE Steeler win. (cough cough)

We should run the ball no matter what even if it is not effective early. It will keep Brady off the field and keep the ball in Bell / Williams hands. Hopefully we can pick up a few first downs and not fall behind by more than 14 early. More than likely Jones will come out firing and put up about 70 passes though.

With Coates emerging, Bell back, the tight ends catching well and the debut of Ladarius Green to the line up, AB may become unhappier with the ball being spread out more.

What's that called...reverse physiology ? Don't do what you should do ( run the ball down their throats ) because they will expect you to do that, so you do the opposite ( throw the ball 70 times ) and you stay with it even if it doesn't work, cause they don't expect that.

Got it !

I expect a screen pass to AB that will get BLOWN UP.

Landry will spread it around and make bad throws to everyone. It will be impossible to identify differences in receiver talent.

Probably true but I remember one game he actually lit it up pretty good. Maybe he's just an incredibly slow learner and will give us some good handoffs and a couple completions. One can only hope.

has AB done anything, other then dance and wear painted cleats, to be a special receiver?

I know hes a stud...just hasn't done it for me this year. Hopefully he has killer cleats this week, may school the *pats.

What the main concern is will Brown step up and do whatever to get open. Now IS the time to stop all his selfish flashy attitude and see what a super star he feels he is. We will see the real Steelers now, who steps up and wants to be a leader and not throw the season away. We will see what type coaches we have to get this team ready. Being a fan a long long time, we have no star power on this defense, no one to make that critical play to turn a game around, now the offense is in the same situation. One thing about having Ben we as fans felt we were in every game. Will be very interesting to see what team comes on Sunday's

Ward did very well with not so good QB's.
