Now Josh Gordon did FAIL at drugs again

Too bad a football player just ruined his chance at greatness due to a chemical dependency. But hey, at least everything works out in that fantasy football world of yours...

No one gives a **** about your fantasy team

Technically, the thread title is misleading ... Josh Gordon didn't fail at "Drugs". He's done drugs exceptionally well. He did, however, fail at "not doing drugs so that he could regain his status as an NFL player."

I thought if you were suspended you couldn't be anywhere near the team, this article say's he was actually allowed to practice with the team?

Heres a good one

Based on a new report, Josh Gordon’s decision to enter rehab may not have been as innocent as it has been made to appear.

According to Lane Adkins of Orange and Brown Report, the troubled Cleveland Browns receiver tried smuggling nearly a pound of marijuana onto a plane recently.

“According to sources, Gordon entered Cleveland Hopkins Airport via an underground entrance and was escorted to the upper level to pass through security for his flight. He was accompanied by a member of his security detail. A TSA representative on the upper level recognized Gordon and his security from the below ground level just moments prior. Due to the strange nature of Gordon being shuffled through the airport, the TSA pulled Gordon aside, checked baggage in the possession of he and his security and found what our source tells us was nearly one pound of pot in their possession.”

I'm sorry but he had sooooo much more opportunity and support to turn his life around than 99.99999% of anyone els in the country with an addiction. I spent many of nights wondering the streets of Battle Creek searching for my crack addicted brother, I also spent many days and nights at the hospital praying he would live. My brother had me and me alone for support. not a **** ton of rich people trting to help him, just me. Today my brother has a Masters degree in psychology and is spending his life helping others kick the habit.

Gordon has had plenty of time and support to get his **** together along with millions of dollars, he could have been doing this rehab while he was already on suspension. My personal opinion is he got busted again and is now trying to cover his tracks. so **** his rich entitled ***.

I think what it is is that he knew he would fail upcoming drug test and his punishment is lighter this way. Pathetic. Happy to hear you helped your brother and succeeded, Warrior42, sincerely.

If this is all over weed, it's even more retarded. That is astonishing.

Liberals will tell you it's a disease and there is no self-determination at all. No choice.

Josh Gordon was destined to be a drug user and we should all have empathy and compassion. No waste of talent here.... it was preordained.

The dude should be banned for life. He is a major addict. How many times has he been in rehab now? He needs to get his life turned around or he will end up dead. His football career is over.

It can be called a disease BUT everyone makes the choice to try the drug and use the drug. Addiction is a consequence to their actions and their choices. Disease or not, they made the choice knowing what could happen and are 100% responsible for the outcome.

Dude, if it's just weed, he will only end up dead from old age or being shot. Weed has never hurt anyone. But that doesn't mean he isn't a dumb ***.

He had a micro amount of weed in his system.

His dumbassedness just made my fantasy team much better.

When they say it's just weed, what that really means is it's weed + cocaine + booze + pills. An alcoholic addicted to drugs is nothing new.

Boy I helped raise was hit walking down the road from a guy driving high on weed, the boy was helicoptered to Orlando hospital. And almost died.

It was justttttt weed.

I have no sympathy for those who have consequences from using to where it affects others.

I disagree. Weed is hurting him, his wallet, and quite probably his freedom. Not to mention what it has done to his team, family, friends, and employers. Weed, if that is all it is, is ruining his life.

Eitherway, a pound of weed through a major transportation hub is a smuggling felony with 20 years in prison attached to it.... (Kaepernick!....take a knee!)

no, it ruined his football career, which, believe it or not Buford, ain't life....and his life wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for stupid laws passed by rich old white guys afraid of losing profits.

All I know is Pryor scored 10 points for me. My move is being lauded as the shrewdest personnel move of the year in my league. Championship.

What precisely would you call his state, if not addiction? What other possible excuse could there be for throwing away tens of millions of dollars, twice and now likely facing as much as 5 to 10 years in a federal prison for interstate smuggling?

If that's not "addiction", I guess I'm confused about what you'd feel would qualify.
