You can argue yes, as he's big with long arms, and has ball skills once he sees the pass coming his way.

Green will toast Cockrell. Ross is just too slow and not physical enough. Gay is too short. Will Butler dare play the rookie on certain downs vs A.J. Green?

**** no he isn't. Rather have Gay or Cockrell covering him with a 10 yard cushion. Put Mitchell to double him downfield, that's it

Think it will be a rotation. In the past when he got safety help over the top we got lit up underneath. We will need Shazier out there and someone shadowing their TE so they don't pick us apart in other areas.

Why would we not play zone like we always do??

Shazier + Golden + Davis (not missing tackles) should do it

Shazier is hurting, Golden, solid, Davis missed a tackle last week that went for extra yardage.

Who is their TE? Elfert is not playing and they lost Grisham

Players are going to make mistakes. Part of the game..he wasn't the only one to miss a tackle.

I think the Steelers best bet is to not get beat deep by Green. He'll probably have 10 receptions this game and a TD. But, it's going to be very schematic coverage. I don't see any one CB following Green a la Ike Taylor.

First order of business stop the run.

Yes. Next season.

Simmons missed a huge tackle on 3rd down that would've forced 4th down

I saw that Timmons can still play, but he's much slower these days. He's close to being a 2 down linebacker.

it's just natural. That's why I'm glad they extended Vince instead of him. Much cheaper

Burns was whipped like a rented mule vs AB so lets try him out on another top NFL receiver. No, I put Cockrell on him and have him get physical (which AJ hates) and roll coverage over top to prevent anything deep. He's going to get his catches it is what it is but lets prevent any one-on-ones with no safety help and always keep him in front of the defense.

I like Vince, but he's also a two down LB. One of our worst coverage LB's. When Shazier went down, Williams was not the next man up.

What are you talking about, Burns isn't starting! How can he cover anybody on the bench?

Gay and Cockrell are our starting CB's and Mitchell and Golden will have to prove they can cover deep

It is what it is

that's my point, why keep Timmons at a hefty price when you have Vince as a 2 down ILB

zone his ***.

I dunno. Cockrell had a tough game against the foreskins and I don't think he's going to have much success against Green either. Although, green was productive in 3 games last year partially because we had the services of blake covering him, ultimately leading to it being green covered by a safety cause Blake was so ******* awful.

They will need pressure this week. Jets got 7 sacks on Dalton, 2 by Steve McClendon. That's how many he had in last 3 years with
Steelers. DT looks like better position for him, than NT.

Waaaaaaay early to put Burns on that remote island. If he's lucky later this year. That would mean he is seriously trustworthy and proficient to take on that sort of task.

Being that Green just toasted Revis Island all day last week, I think he will just rip Burns to shreds.

Much cheaper and now Fox looks legit too. Thanks, Larry, but this is your last year in Pgh. Now if we could get Shazier to not be a china doll, that would be just great.

Gay underneath Golden overtop......
