I'll admit that I'm not a religious man by any stretch of the imagination, but I seriously would hope that god doesn't determine the winners and losers of football games
Yeah, I thought it was #91 being offsides, myself.
I'll admit that I'm not a religious man by any stretch of the imagination, but I seriously would hope that god doesn't determine the winners and losers of football games
How do you fix it though? What are you willing to do? Sit his *** for a bit?
I've used the Brett Farve example. While Farve got better under McCarthy (and didn't like it), he never really fixed it. He threw a couple of bad picks in the NFCC game against the Giants that year. I am just afraid with Ben the die is cast. And mostly that die is damn good, but there are those moments, like Sunday. And it is costing them big-time.
haha dude you nailed it, dead on! Ben has a show on before the presser and he took blame and said he didn't have his best game. Tomlin said we endlessly, even when asked about prep, focus, etc, he said he's not looking back, blah, blah, blah. Gave the dumbest answer about the lack of pressure with just four guys, and if they shouldveI didn't listen to Ben's post game, but I will say this. Ben is the ONLY member on this team other than possibly Cam Heyward that someone else mentioned that takes personal responsibility for his play. Even when it was the line playing shity being like a seive he always looked at himself. Now you complare that to coolshades conference today. He will use the word we endlessly, but what he is referencing will be the players. . preparation, adjustment and team attitude will not be addressed. Bank on that.
So what are you really saying? Get rid of Ben and start the 20+ year search for the next franchise QB?
I say keep Ben and get the most of his last years with a HC who could form a balanced team that will bring more tropheys.

Well there it is isn't it. Good defenses bring pressure with four men. No they don't. Very few if any teams bring consistent pressure with four guys. But lets say this fairy land exists. You double team Cam Heyward that leaves you three on three blockers plus the back if you are in a protection. So who of the remaining 3 will consistently bring pressure? There you go.haha dude you nailed it, dead on! Ben has a show on before the presser and he took blame and said he didn't have his best game. blitzed more, he said good defenses can pressure with four guys and we strive to be that. So basically its what we want to do and if it's not working, we will do it anyways.
Ben admittedly had a **** game, I haven't seen anyone saying he had a good game, but why isn't Brown, the supposedly best WR in the NFL, not getting any flack for not making that TD catch? Or Bryant on 3RD down dropping a big gainer on 3rd down, if he stays on his feet Ben just threw the winning TD, if he just catches it we are close to FG range. No one wants to bring any of that, hell Bryant had a few drops.
Quit being obtuse. The premise here is that Tomlin is not properly motivating his players, he is not getting through to them the importance. Ben has been included in that. So again, the question is, what are you prepared to do. If the QB rolls stinkers out like Sunday in big spots, what are you prepared to do?
See, this is where some of you are full of ****. Tomlin has to do this, Tomlin that. Be specific. What do you do?
I will flat out admit that I do not know. I don't profess to have the answer. I don't want to sit the franchise guy nor get rid of him. Nobody said that. But he has to stop having these games in which he plays like **** in big spots. I sure he has been talked to. I'm sure he knows it.
You seem to think that just changing who is in charge will fix it. You are obviously a simpleton, as somehow you extrapolated out of my post I want to get rid of Ben. Easy answers, but it is never that easy.

I agree but if you're going to credit brown with that, then you have to credit Ben with throwBecause he did make the catch and it's not his fault the NFL ****** up what a catch is and it's a huge ******* mess.

The throw on 3rd down that hit Bryant in stride was **** too? Should've been the winning score if Bryant doesn't fall and not catch the ballGreat throw. Rest of the game was **** and he was out played by Mallet. And as someone we consider elite and a Franchise Guy that can't happen
And Tomlin out coached by a guy with a jv squadHe didn't catch it no fault of Ben. If he does yes it does help erase the game they both had.. cause Bryant stunk too. But he didn't so again Ben the elite guy was outplayed by Mallet.
You just seem to be blaming it all on Ben, that´s why I asked the question. If you´re going to blame someone, be fair. The blame for this game goes to various members of the team, but the blame for not reaching the play-offs AGAIN!!!!!! can only go to one person.....
I
The simpleton I am thinks that changing the HC may not fix all the problems, but it would certainly be a step in the right direction.
**** off with your outplayed by Mallet. Mallet's stats were good because your retard for a head coach let him stand there and throw 7-10 yards to basically uncovered guys. He made like two or three big quality throws otherwise. Ben's stat line was pretty much what it normally was 70% but they didn't have the ball enough because the defense couldn't get it, to get the 38-44 passes he needed. The one interception was a bad sight adjustment to AB that could easily have been a huge play. He misread the linebacker on the other. That is him, bnut he has made that throw for a big play 50 times this year. The linebacker just didn't do what he normally should and come down on the TE.He didn't catch it no fault of Ben. If he does yes it does help erase the game they both had.. cause Bryant stunk too. But he didn't so again Ben the elite guy was outplayed by Mallet.
Tomlin would be a damn fine used car salesman or a hype pitch for an energy drink
He probably would since he talks so well and you that jive talk is do popular with the teens these days
But who cares what the players say they don't know ****..
