Bench/cut Antwan Blake NOW

Martavis had one drop that hit him in the hands with no defender near him. He had 2 drops that were contested but the ball, in both cases, was in his hands until his feet hit the ground. He then proceeded to lose the ball. One definite catch and two that he has to make to be considered a good (not even great, just good) WR. After the way Wheaton played, he is our No. 2 as he was to start the season. He is more reliable than Bryant and his chemistry with Ben is now coming into its own. Couldn't happen at a better time.

I don't think this changes anything. They use Bryant in a certain way and that will continue and Wheaton took advantage of a porous secondary to get wide open.

That!
Bryant had some crucial drops. He had the Limas Sweed syndrome yesterday. Even just two of those catches were red zone opportunities

And, that's what would make Bryant the no. 3 WR. Wheaton was moved to the slot this year. It took him a little to get used to that. He finally seems to be there and on the same page with Ben. He was the No. 2 WR to start the season and even when Bryant first got back. With Bryant's drops and the versatility of Wheaton, I think Bryant goes back to No. 3. Not that it means much as we should have 3 WR's on the field most of the time. This team is built to throw the ball 40+ times a game.

If they were going to play Boykin, they would have done it by now. Either Tomlin and Butler are so in love with Blake that they're blinded by reality, or Boykin is every bit the prick the Philly media portrayed him as.

Even if the latter was the case, Boykin showed himself to be a quality DB with the Eagles last seasons. Aside from the occasional big play, between being bent over the the barrel several times, what has Blake shown?

Just give Boykin a chance already.

If I remember correctly, the organization made a fairly big deal about bringing in Boykin, who did have a decent time in Philly. It makes no sense whatsoever that you bring in a strong prospect, give up a 4th rounder, and not play him. He must have banged Tomlin's wife.

That kind of comment speaks volumes of you!

I don't care what Boykin did to piss someone on the coaching staff off, he needs to play next week. If I have to watch Blake get burned and then try to knock a WR down with his shoulder while his arms are hanging down by his side one more time, I'm going to projectile vomit. I also don't care that Blake plays outside and Boykin is better in the slot. Boykin CANNOT be worse than Blake. Period.

Yop.....think it was Simspleton who during a replay of one of those said "....and he wasn't going for the big hit, he tried to wrap up." Uh, no Phil, that's exactly the opposite of what he did, but thanks.

I can only guess that happened while walking around all day with it stuck up his ***.

....while groping about for his head.

if it would bring about Blake's benching I wood. lol

I see what ya did there........

Listening to Tomlin's presser... sounds like this might be the week for Boykin. I'll believe it when I see it but at least he's talking about changes.

But if they believed what was said about him, why in the hell did they even trade for him? did they wanna see it firsthand, while losing a somewhat decent pick in the process?

vs indy's WR @ TE's changes are a must even with hasselbeck. Gay needs to play press vs TY, Cockrell vs Johnson, Boykin vs Moncrief, in the nickel blake at FS.
