I just read in the rag that shall not be mentioned that Woodley is currently our third highest cap hit...WTF ?
Woodley, still counts $8.58 million against the Steelers salary cap, even though he is with his second team since they cut him. He played just six games last season for the Oakland Raiders because of injury. After they released him this year, he then signed with the Cardinals.
So. is this like having our guys playing for both teams at the same time ? How this can happen is beyond my comprehension but at the same time it has to reflect on the Steeler mgmt team and their ongoing contract philosophy.
Does this happen a lot ?
