Outcoached again, that's how I see it.

I am not a rules expert but it appears to me that the interior P*'s lineman lurchs forward and the other 2 move sideways to cover the act designed to draw the Steelers into a penalty.
When the D lineman lunges forward should that not a penalty on the P*'s?
They were absolutely coached to do that. We can cry about it all we want. The offense has to execute. Now that we've seen it we know to expect it. Rather see some BS like this in week 1 than in the playoffs.
Its a unsportsmanlike call I believe. I thought it clever actually and was pissed we fell for it. Hell our OL false starts on the regular anyways.
lol he's such a douche. Wasnt it raining cats and dogs?
and that exact approach is what is turning me off to the game. Its just insulting at this point.I was surprised, a bit. On First Take, both Skip and Steven A. were both in the "WTF is going on here, this looks very bad" camp. Herm Edwards was all "it's not a big deal, it's not why the Steelers lost." Steven A. took him to task, saying how the Steelers played and what happened on the field is irrelevant to the headsets...they aren't correlated.
I'm a bit tired of this approach by *Patriots fans, the NFL, and some analysts. The deflated balls didn't matter, NE would have won anyway. The spying didn't matter, the players still had to make the plays. The headsets going out didn't matter, the Steelers couldn't cover Gronk.
WTF? The issue is breaking the damned rules. You don't mitigate those issues by tying them to the game on the field.
This approach is maddening. And it goes both ways. When Weiss was there back in 2000, the very beginnings of Spygate, they lost to Tampa Bay (see the OTL report). After, talking heads used this as an example to say "see, the spying really wasn't effective."
When the *Patriots win, they say "it wouldn't have mattered, NE would have won anyway." When the *Patriots lose, they say "Why do you care? The cheating didn't help them, NE still lost."
Arggggh.

I have no doubt that they were coached to do that but one DL is moving forward while the other 2 are moving sideways. Is it not a penalty on the one moving forward?
He could have at least put on a pair of Sperrys. IJSHe showered and put on his civvies.
This is authentic - it was tweeted by a Boston reporter who was at the postgame presser:
