Per Mike's presser, not just for a short period of time - but the entire first half - the coaches heard nothing but the *Patriots radio broadcast.

I'm just about done with the NFL's lack of spine with this franchise.

Yeah he seemed very pissed off about it. Said it happens every time there.

Sick of the NFL as a whole. **** is way too shady

So stop the game and say I'm pulling my team if you don't fix it.

Yep but that would actually take having balls, not just talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking/

Agreed. I have no idea why some coach hasn't gone nuclear on this issue before. How can you prepare for weeks for opening day, and then just let this **** slide? I'd have pulled my team off the field, and walked, career or fines on the line or not.

The Patriots feel infallible with this cheating. Basically theyre saying if you think we cheat, prove it....if u cant prove it, then theres nothing. So they continue.....Whatever it takes.....barking cadence to draw the offense, anything......

Mike Tomlin irate over headset issues: 'Always the case' at New England

Here's the full exchange between Tomlin and reporters at Gillette:

Mike there was a report that your radio went out?

“That's always the case.”

Here?

“Yes.”

So you're saying every time you play here you have rad—

“I said what I said.”

Mike what exactly happened, you just didn't have any communication?

“We were listening to the Patriots radio broadcast for the majority of the first half. On our headsets.”

Tomlin then added that the issue was "coach to coach" in terms of communication before attempting to move onto a different subject. When reporters attempted to move it back toward the subject of the radios by saying Tomlin was "indicating" a serious claim with the radio issue, Tomlin made things abundantly clear.

“I'm not indicating nothing," Tomlin said. "I'm telling you what happened.”

Tomlin doesn't often display his anger like that. Some folks might think he's lying trying to capitalize on recent hype, but I believe him

But this is nothing new. Besides, why do you need somebody in a headset telling you that you should cover Gronk? It should be pretty freaking obvious.

Don't care if he is telling the truth, he took it like a ***** during the game instead of making it and issue. He had his team unprepared once again and is focusing on a matter he COULD have controlled, typical Tomlin, useless on game days.

For offensive play calling... yes, it helps.

The defense was Gronks ***** tonight. I don't think the steelers have anyone on that D that could cover him. Tomlin should have made a stink about the issue however to further the dagger in the pats heart

Not one coach has done it yet and how long has it happened ?

For as big a dick as John Harbaugh is, he's probably the only guy with balls enough to do something like that.

According to Steelers website Tomlin brought the radio broadcast in the headset BS up w the officials during the game. They walked to the Cheats sideline to have them remove their headsets (the equity rule) and all of a sudden the radio broadcast was gone....until they came back onto the field when it started up again. Absolute BS. I hope this gets HUGE as the Cheats deserve it.

So, the cheats were having the same issue? I bet that they are lying again.

I hate that douche, but I was thinking the same thing.

I hope there was a sting set up to catch the pats doing anything shady. Please let there be some evidence they did something.

I was thinking to myself today, Paul Allen is a very wealthy man. He should have offered Ernie Adams a 50 million dollar signing bonus to work for one of his companies the day after the NFL championship with condition of immediate employment. Ernie isn't a coach. It wouldn't be tampering.

Really. The owner is a billionaire and they can't afford to install a radio system free of interference from the game broadcast "for years" Really Bill. You don't get to talk to rainman for long periods of time and they can't fix that. Yeah. Sure.
