Look, most of us expect that D to take 4 to 8 games to gel... We have run the same basic D for 20 years now... the few time we have made serious additions it took a few games to get comfortable.. we made a **** ton of major changes this time... these changes often take a whole year to really get in place. You see it a lot with other teams that have overhauled schemes.. we just aren't used to it

we actually used that a bit back in 2008 to 10 behind a 3/4 2 gap front... it wasn't exclusive but it did take opponents a couple years to adjust. It was one of the better adjustments we made in recent times... im just not sold on how we are using it this year
